**STANDARD REQUIREMENTS FOR NOTARIZATION**
If you need documents notarized here in the Philippines, please make sure to bring the following to the Notary Public:
(1) ONE EXTRA ORIGINAL COPY of each document (ex. If you need to submit 4 notarized copies of an affidavit to an agency/company, you must bring 5 copies to the Notary Public). Notary Public's copy can NOT just be a photocopy and should be signed in wet signature by all parties — Documents signed in E-signatures are NOT allowed to be notarized.
(2) PHOTOCOPIES OF ANY VALID GOVERNMENT ISSUED ID'S of ALL signatories. Examples of acceptable identification are Passport, Driver's License, Postal ID, Philhealth Card, SSS ID, PRC ID, Senior Citizen's card, NBI clearance, Police Clearance and Voter's ID, etc.
Please be advised that documents must be presented to the Notary Public by the signatories themselves. Representatives may only be allowed if they are to bring either a Special Power of Attorney (SPA) or an Authorization Letter -- Both must be be notarized. Furthermore, documents must be signed by the signatories within the same city/municipality where the Notary Public is authorized to operate. Documents signed overseas are NOT allowed to be notarized.
