𝑭𝒀𝑰 I Paragraph 2, Section 201 of the National Internal Revenue Code (NIRC) of 1997 states that “No notary public or other office authorized to administer oaths shall add his jurat or acknowledgement to any document subject to documentary stamp tax unless the proper documentary stamps are affixed thereto and cancelled.”

In line with this, LFG Law will require all documents for notarization subject to documentary stamp tax to have the proper documentary stamps otherwise, the notary public will not do any notarial act on the said documents.
