An advocacy campaign project of Philippine Children's Ministries Network which aims to build capacities of youth advocates on child protection and safety. Our target groups:

The ๐˜๐จ๐ฎ๐ญ๐ก ๐…๐จ๐ซ ๐’๐š๐Ÿ๐ž๐ญ๐ฒ (๐˜๐Ÿ’๐’) ๐ƒ๐š๐ฏ๐š๐จ ๐‚๐ข๐ญ๐ฒ ๐‚๐ก๐š๐ฉ๐ญ๐ž๐ซ successfully conducted the Rollout of the Y4S Policy and Operations Handbook at Faith Tabernacle, Mati City, with youth from Compassion, children from Child Hope Mati City, pastors, church workers, and representatives from partner churches came together for the OSAEC Awareness Orientation and Operations Handbook Policies Orientation.

The activity provided a safe and nurturing space where participants learned about the dangers of Online Sexual Abuse and Exploitation of Children (OSAEC), responsible digital citizenship, and the importance of protecting themselves and others in both online and offline environments. Through interactive discussions, reflections, and learning activities, children and youth gained valuable knowledge on digital safety, emotional resilience, and child protection.

The activity served as an important platform to orient participants on Y4S policies, operational guidelines, leadership structure, and standards of conduct, ensuring a unified understanding of the organization's principles and the effective implementation of programs across the district.

A significant highlight of the activity was the ๐ž๐ฅ๐ž๐œ๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง ๐จ๐Ÿ ๐ญ๐ก๐ž ๐ƒ๐ข๐ฌ๐ญ๐ซ๐ข๐œ๐ญ ๐Ÿ ๐‚๐ฅ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ญ๐ž๐ซ ๐Ž๐Ÿ๐Ÿ๐ข๐œ๐ž๐ซ๐ฌ, who will lead and coordinate Y4S initiatives within their respective communities while supporting the programs, activities, and advocacy efforts of the Y4S Quezon City Chapter. In line with the strategic directions of PCMN and the mandate of Youth for Safety (Y4S) to engage, organize, and empower young people, the activity aimed to orient participants on the Y4S Operations Manual, including the organization's governance structure, operational procedures, membership processes, and roles and responsibilities. Through the orientation, participants gained valuable knowledge and skills that will help them effectively implement Y4S programs and advocacy efforts in their respective communities.

Ngayong Araw ng Kalayaan, buong pagmamalaki nating ginugunita ang tapang, pagkakaisa, at walang sawang pagmamahal sa bayan ng mga Pilipinong nagbigay ng kanilang sakripisyo upang makamtan ang kalayaang ating tinatamasa ngayon.

Bilang mga kabataan, tayo ang tagapagmana ng kalayaang ito at may mahalagang tungkuling pangalagaan at palawigin ang diwa nito. Sa pamamagitan ng aktibong pakikilahok, malasakit sa kapwa, at paglilingkod sa ating mga komunidad, naipapakita natin na ang kalayaan ay hindi lamang isang karapatan kundi isang pananagutang dapat gamitin para sa kabutihang panlahat.

Nawaโ€™y magsilbing inspirasyon ang araw na ito upang patuloy nating itaguyod ang pagkakaisa, demokrasya, at makabuluhang pakikilahok ng kabataan sa paghubog ng isang mas ligtas, mas makatarungan, at mas maunlad na Pilipinas.

Sa bawat mabuting gawa at bawat hakbang tungo sa positibong pagbabago, buhay ang diwa ng kalayaan.
