The founding lawyers of our firm are products of highly-recognized schools in the Philippines who possess more than twenty years of solid legal practice with skills honed by many years of service both in government and the private sector. Our current Legal Manager and co-founder, ATTY. ANGELICA PARONI BALINO-LIRAG, Esq., AB, J.D., MBA, who took up both her Bachelor of Arts (BA Philosophy, magna cm laude) and Juris Doctor (Best Law Intern) degrees at the University of the Philippines (UP), is an immigration attorney and specialist with license to practice law in the US, having been previously admitted to the State Bar of California in 2006. In addition to her California Bar and Philippine Bar licenses, Atty. Lirag is likewise a holder of a Master's degree in Business Administration from De La Salle University (DLSU) graduating at the top of her class, and has previously worked at the offices of the deputy governor of the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP), Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), Court of Appeals (CA), Supreme Court (SC) and the then Carpio Villaraza & Cruz law firm. She advises and represents clients in all areas of litigation and dispute resolution, corporate formation, compliances and housekeeping, family law, property and business acquisitions as well as strategic business positioning, to name a few. Lirag is the mother of three bright kids who have the same streak of academic excellence while at La Salle Green Hills (LSGH), De La Salle University, and University of the Philippines. She hails from Solsona, Ilocos Norte and Tayug, Pangasinan. The other co-founder and Lead Counsel of our firm, ATTY. HEHERSON ALNOR GAWAT SIMPLICIANO, AB, J.D., earned his pre-law (AB Political Science, honorable mention) and law degrees (Juris Doctor) from the Ateneo de Manila University (ADMU) in 1992 and the University of the Philippines (UP) in 1996, respectively. He brings to the firm a wealth of experience gained from working in government and as a private law practitioner specializing in litigation and dispute resolution, corporate and business, real estate, construction arbitration, insurance, intellectual property, labor relations, Philippine immigration, contracts and legal documentation, regulatory compliances and special projects. As a practitioner, he has already advised and represented a sizeable number of clients before trial and appellate courts and regulatory / quasi-judicial bodies, successfully concluded various complex negotiations and contracts in a number of industries and provided satisfactory consultancy services to both local and foreign clients as well as cross-border commercial transactions. Simpliciano is a full-blooded and genuine Ilocano who traces his humble beginnings in the City of Batac, Ilocos Norte and San Mateo, Isabela.
