A while ago, assisted a client in court. The other party appeared w/o counsel. They thought they would present their evidence. For some reason, it seemed they dont know they lost their case.

So this representation explained to them what happened in front of the judge. Out of pity, this representation explained to the other party the incidents and told them to talk right away to their lawyer. My client asked if dat was just ok, so i said, yaan niyo na po kawawa naman natalo sila na di nila alam baka di pa sila nakausap ng counsel nila.

Court battles need not be toxic and so adversarial. We can still be good to our opponents becoz dat speaks of who we are being ambassadors of goodness and kindness. Anyway - another client went home with a big smile..
