SAFE CHOICES, STRONG VOICES!
The Public Attorney’s Office – Quezon City District Office (PAO–QCDO) was formally invited by the College of St. Catherine, Quezon City, to serve as a resource institution in a campus-wide initiative focused on promoting a drug-free and violence-free academic environment.
The activity aimed to raise awareness among students, faculty, and staff on the legal, social, and personal implications of substance abuse and violence, while emphasizing the importance of informed decision-making, personal accountability, and community responsibility.
Through this engagement, PAO–QCDO reaffirmed its commitment to legal education, youth empowerment, and the promotion of a safe and secure learning environment.
The program was honored by the presence of distinguished speakers from PAO–QCDO, Atty. Mark Angelo Palattao and Atty. Lorenz Bañez, who shared their legal expertise and practical insights on preventive measures, individual rights and responsibilities, and the role of the law in fostering a culture of safety, respect, and resilience within educational institutions.
Their discussions encouraged students to exercise sound judgment, stand up against harmful behaviors, and become proactive advocates for peace, responsibility, and lawful conduct—strengthening not only the campus community but society as a whole.
