Mindanao’s Economic Performance
Mindanao regions are posting strong GRDP figures in 2024. SOCCSKSARGEN leads with ₱1.08T (highlighted as “Best in GRDP”), while Davao Region follows at ₱1.05T. CARAGA posted ₱550.08B, Northern Mindanao ₱465.70B, and BARMM ₱299.48B. In terms of growth rate, CARAGA led at 6.9%, noted as “Best in terms of growing,” followed by SOCCSKSARGEN at 5.5% and Davao Region at 6.3%.

REBAP HOLDS COURTESY CALL AND PARTNERSHIP MEETING WITH PAG-IBIG FUND CEO HON. MARILENE C. ACOSTA

The REBAP National Board formally met with the leadership of the Pag-IBIG Fund (HDMF) today, May 7, 2026, in a productive discussion on a long-term institutional partnership between the two organizations.

In the meeting, REBAP and Pag-IBIG Fund aligned on a shared commitment to public service and homeowner protection. As an initial step toward this partnership, REBAP offered to be part of Pag-IBIG Fund’s public fairs and outreach activities nationwide — in which our proficient CRBs can serve as on-ground resource persons to educate the public on their real estate ownership concerns.

When Pag-IBIG is there, REBAP will be there.

Whether it’s a title concern, an estate to settle, an encroachment issue, or a question about their property documents — the public deserves access to a licensed professional who can guide them. That is what REBAP brokers are there for. This is public service. This is homeowner protection. And this is exactly the kind of work our profession was built to do.

Further discussions on additional partnership programs — including business opportunities for REBAP members — are ongoing and will be announced in due course. Watch this space. 👀
