As the year draws to a close, I'd like to look back on these memories which really made an impact in my life. First in my list is the Global Summit of Generation Democracy by . I’ve met amazing people and heard inspiring stories that have helped me push through the tumultuous second half of 2018.

Getting into politics was never a plan. I mustered the courage to throw myself into this jungle where lions and tigers fight for survival only because I wanted to do some good. I spent my savings trying to win hearts, introduce myself to the public, in the hopes of making some meaningful change.

It was a challenging journey. And until this very day, I fight disillusionment on a daily basis. But I have no regrets. I may not have been able to do everything I've set myself to do, but there have been small wins and considerable progress.

I was ready to raise the white flag this year. I was resolved to give it up. But after some people made me realize the effects of what I've been able to ignite, I'm keeping the faith that we shall get there--to that time when everyone gets an equal shot at moving up, when families won't have to resort to patronizing those in power to receive a pittance of their actual share, when politics becomes an enabler for genuine and meaningful change for our people. We will get there, I'm positive we will.

So I journey on to 2019 with a more balanced mindset of idealism and pragmatism. 🙂 @ Vienna, Austria

Your god is not my God, Mr. President.

Are the acts of killing innocent men, women, and child part of the teachings of your perfect god? Does your god with perfect common sense approve of your misogyny and sexism? Of your habitual lying; your twisted justifications of r**e, murder, and corruption? Of your tendency to malign, and humiliate others?

Your are right, Mr. President: my God is not your god. For my God's works are perfect, His ways are just, compassionate, and loving.

Mr. President, who is this unjust, unmerciful god of yours?
