𝐄𝐚𝐫𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐫 𝐓𝐨𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐢𝐧 𝐏𝐢𝐚𝐠𝐚𝐩𝐨 | 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 𝐔𝐋𝐀𝐅 🐟🐠

The Municipality of Piagapo, through its local field coordination team, supported the field supervision for the 2026 𝑈𝑝𝑑𝑎𝑡𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝐿𝑖𝑠𝑡 𝑜𝑓 𝐴𝑞𝑢𝑎𝑐𝑢𝑙𝑡𝑢𝑟𝑒 𝐹𝑎𝑟𝑚𝑠 (𝑈𝐿𝐴𝐹) conducted today, 19 August 2026.

The activity was joined by 𝐌𝐚’𝐚𝐦 𝐀𝐪𝐮𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐚 𝐋𝐚𝐮𝐭 𝐌𝐚𝐜𝐮𝐝, Senior Statistical Specialist, SOCD–PSA BARMM, and 𝐌𝐚’𝐚𝐦 𝐒𝐨𝐡𝐫𝐢𝐚 𝐋𝐚𝐮𝐭 𝐌𝐚𝐜𝐮𝐝, ULAF Provincial Focal Person and Statistical Analyst, together with the PSA Lanao del Sur Team and assigned ULAF Enumerators.

Representing PSA Lanao del Sur was 𝐌𝐫. 𝐀𝐬𝐡𝐫𝐚𝐟 𝐏. 𝐂𝐨𝐬𝐚𝐢𝐧, CBMS Statistical Analyst, while the Piagapo Field Focals Team was represented by 𝐌𝐬. 𝐍𝐚𝐢𝐦𝐚 𝐃. 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐢𝐚, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐌𝐫. 𝐂𝐚𝐢𝐫𝐨𝐝𝐞𝐧 𝐇. 𝐌𝐨𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐟𝐚, who assisted the PSA Regional and Provincial teams throughout the field activity.

The LGU Piagapo, under the leadership of 𝐄𝐧𝐠𝐫. 𝐀𝐥𝐢 𝐋. 𝐒𝐮𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐫, 𝐌𝐏𝐀, Municipal Mayor, remains committed to supporting quality data collection and strengthening partnerships for evidence-based planning and sustainable local development.

📊 CBMS DATA MANAGEMENT AND EXCEL-BASED DATA CLEANING

August 3–6, 2026 | Davao City

The Municipality of Piagapo successfully participated in the 4-Day Training Program on “CBMS Data Management and Excel-Based Data Cleaning,” held on August 3–6, 2026, at Casa Leticia Business Inn, Maya St., Ecoland, Bucana, Talomo District, Davao City, Davao del Sur.

The training, organized by the Philippine Statistical Research and Training Institute (PSRTI), focused on strengthening participants’ technical competencies in CBMS data management, Excel-based data cleaning, data validation and structuring, analysis, visualization, and organization.

Representing the Municipality of Piagapo were:

Al-Sharief L. Benito – Designated DPO / MPDO Staff
Engr. Abdul Jalil P. Macud – Participant
Engr. Jamel A. Pangandamun – Participant

The four-day training provided hands-on learning through various modules and practical exercises covering Excel workbook and worksheet management, data validation, sorting and filtering, formulas and functions, lookup tools, Pivot Tables, charts and data visualization, worksheet protection, automation, and data integration.

The activity served as an important capacity-building opportunity for the participating personnel to enhance their skills in managing and processing CBMS data, which can support evidence-based planning, informed decision-making, effective program development, and improved delivery of local government services.

The Municipality of Piagapo extends its appreciation to the Philippine Statistical Research and Training Institute (PSRTI) for providing this valuable learning opportunity and for continuously strengthening the capacity of Local Government Units in data management and utilization.

📚 ADVANCING CBMS SKILLS FOR LOCAL PLANNING AND SDG PROGRESS MONITORING
📅 July 14–16, 2026

The Municipality of Piagapo proudly participated in the Training on Advancing CBMS Skills for Local Planning and SDG Progress Monitoring, held on July 14–16, 2026, at Hotel Almaseer, Awang, Datu Odin Sinsuat, Maguindanao.

The three-day capacity-building activity was organized by the Philippine Statistical Research and Training Institute (PSRTI) in partnership with the Ministry of the Interior and Local Government (MILG-BARMM). The training aimed to enhance the knowledge and technical competencies of Local Government Unit (LGU) personnel in maximizing Community-Based Monitoring System (CBMS) data for evidence-based planning, policy formulation, and monitoring the progress of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Throughout the training, participants gained valuable insights into CBMS data management, analysis, visualization, and its practical application in preparing local development plans and designing responsive government programs. The activity also reinforced the importance of reliable community-level data in promoting inclusive, transparent, and sustainable local governance.

The Municipality extends its sincere appreciation to the Philippine Statistical Research and Training Institute (PSRTI) and the Ministry of the Interior and Local Government (MILG-BARMM) for conducting this meaningful learning opportunity.

This participation was made possible through the support and approval of our Municipal Mayor, Engr. Ali Lawi Sumandar, MPA, and the guidance of our Municipal Planning and Development Coordinator, Ma'am Noralyn R. Mamad, EnP, whose commitment to capacity development continues to strengthen the Municipality's pursuit of data-driven governance and sustainable development.

📊 2024 CBMS DATA TURNOVER CEREMONY | April 15, 2026 🤝

On April 15, 2026, the Municipality successfully conducted the 2024 Community-Based Monitoring System (CBMS) Data Turnover Ceremony, marking another significant milestone in strengthening evidence-based governance and data-driven decision-making.

The event featured the formal turnover of the 2024 CBMS data from the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) to the Local Government Unit, the signing of the Data Turnover Agreement, the presentation of the key highlights of the 2024 CBMS results, discussions on data utilization for local planning and policy formulation, and a collaborative dialogue on the way forward toward more responsive, inclusive, and sustainable local governance.

With the official turnover of the CBMS database, the Municipality is now better equipped to identify priority needs, formulate evidence-based policies, allocate resources more effectively, and implement programs and services that truly respond to the needs of its constituents.

The Municipality expresses its sincere appreciation to the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA), municipal officials, barangay partners, stakeholders, and everyone who contributed to the successful implementation of the 2024 CBMS.
