The Supreme Court has extended the 7th MCLE Compliance Period for one (1) year from April 15, 2022, to April 14, 2023, in an En Banc Resolution dated February 15, 2022.

Pursuant to Bar Matter No. 850, Mandatory Continuing Legal Education (MCLE) is required of members of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines (IBP) to ensure that throughout their career, they keep up-to-date with the latest law and jurisprudence, maintain the ethics of the profession and enhance the standards of the practice of law. Every member of the IBP must complete at least 36 credit units of MCLE every 3 years during the set compliance period.

The Integrated Bar of the Philippines (IBP) is the national organization of lawyers in the Philippines. Membership in the IBP is compulsory for all lawyers in the country.
