It recognizes that while artificial intelligence may enhance speed and efficiency, it must never displace accountability, legal reasoning, or human responsibility. AI may assist, but it cannot decide. For lawyers and judges alike, the duty to think, to verify, and to uphold justice remains entirely human.

This framework marks the Philippine Supreme Court’s first comprehensive attempt to regulate the use of artificial intelligence in the administration of justice, establishing guardrails that ensure AI remains assistive rather than determinative. I.
