Our senior managing partner, Atty. Evergisto Escalon, alongside associates — Atty. Michael Sevilla, Atty. Agnes Alonzo, Atty. Andre Cu, and Atty. Kivee De los Santos — attended the official launching ceremony of the Ormoc City Justice Zone at the Sabin Resort Hotel, February 19, 2026.

The launch was attended by members of the Judiciary, representatives from the DOJ, DILG, PNP, LGU, and other local stakeholders in affirming their commitment against Online Sexual Abuse of Children (OSAEC) and Child Sexual Abuse or Sexual Exploitation Materials (CSAEM).

Atty. Evergisto Escalon and associates joined the launch as representatives from the academe, with Atty. Michael Sevilla as President of the Ormoc City People’s Council, and Atty. Andre Cu as Secretariat of the Ormoc City Justice Zone Committee.

Our senior managing partner, Atty. Evergisto Escalon, and associates joined the 3-day Consultation Meeting & Development Planning Workshop facilitated by the Justice Sector Coordinating Council (JSCC), last July 29 to 31, 2025.

The workshop is an important step towards the launching of the Tri-City Justice Zone of Ormoc, Calbayog, and Tacloban Cities, focused on Anti-Online Sexual Abuse and Exploitation of Children (Anti-OSAEC) and Anti-Child Sexual Abuse or Exploitation Materials (Anti-CSAEM).

Our associate, Atty. Andre Alan Cu, was elected as Secretariat of the Tri-Sectoral Convenors of the Ormoc City Justice Zone.

Our senior managing partner, Atty. Evergisto Escalon, joined Ormoc City Mayor Lucy Torres Gomez and WLC President Emmanuel Fiel in the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement at the Ormoc City Hall, last March 6, 2025.

The signing of the Memorandum of Agreement was for the operation of the Law Scholarship Grant and Return Service Program under the city’s Law Scholarship Ordinance.

Also in attendance was our associate lawyer, Atty. Michael Sevilla.
