The IBP Camarines Sur joins the Nationwide Synchronized Jail Decongestion Activity on August 27, 2026. The activity is spearheaded by the The Integrated Bar of the Philippines (IBP), in partnership with the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) and the Bureau of Corrections (BuCor).

For Camarines Sur, it will be held at 8:00 AM the BJMP Tigaon District Jail.

The IBP Credit Cooperative was officially launched on August 20, 2026 to provide financial services and savings programs tailored specifically for members of the legal profession.

The Integrated Bar of the Philippines (IBP) officially launches the Integrated Bar of the Philippines Credit Cooperative, a member-centered initiative established to support the financial well-being, professional goals, and long-term welfare of members of the legal profession.

Introduced during the 2026 IBP Southern Luzon Regional Convention on August 20, 2026, the IBP Credit Cooperative forms part of the continuing initiatives of the 27th IBP Board of Governors, under the leadership of IBP National President and Chairman of the 27th Board of Governors Atty. Allan G. Panolong, to strengthen programs that directly benefit members of the Bar.

The cooperative was introduced by Atty. Josemar Albano, IBP National Officer, who presented its vision as a financial community owned and governed by lawyers and designed around the needs of lawyers.

Through the cooperative, members may look forward to financial solutions and opportunities founded on the principles of integrity, transparency, accountability, mutual support, and sustainable growth.

Registered with the Cooperative Development Authority (CDA) in accordance with Republic Act No. 9520, or the Philippine Cooperative Code of 2008, the IBP Credit Cooperative represents another step toward building a stronger and more responsive professional community.

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Retired Judge Nilo A. Malanyaon.

His remains lie at San Roque (Poblacion), Bula, Camarines Sur. Interment will be on Monday, July 27, 2026 at the Saint Mary Magdalene Parish, Bula.

The IBP Camarines Sur extend their prayers and condolence to the bereaved family.

For those who want to pay their respects, a necrological service will be held later today at 5:30 PM.

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Atty. Phil Christian Mayhay.

Atty. Phil was one of IBP Camarines Sur's Director. He is best known for his selfless and committed work and dedication as Chairperson of the Legal Aid Committee.

Atty. Phil was not only an exceptional and honorable lawyer, he was a gentle and kind soul, and most of all, a devoted and loyal husband and father.

We send our heartfelt condolence and prayers to Atty. Phil's bereaved family.

You will be sorely missed, Atty. Phil. The Board will never be the same without you.

The IBP Camarines Sur in partnership with the Rotary Club of Naga Camarines Sur conducted a Legal Aid Mission on July 4, 2026 at the BJMP Libmanan.

IBP Camarines Sur's Legal Aid Chairperson, Atty. Phil Christian Mayhay gave a Lecture on the rights of PDLs.

Apart from free legal consultation, more than 80 PDLs were given toiletries and meals.

This event is part of IBP's advocacy to ensure access to justice by providing free legal counseling and education.
