We take this opportunity to express our deepest gratitude for the guidance and wisdom you have so generously shared with us.
Atty. Kate, or βMama Kateβ, as many students from San Beda Alabang School of Law would call her, has not only been an exemplary student leader in her time as a student with us, but a role model as well. She has shown us how to prepare every event with excellence and to always put our best foot forward.
We dare to say that contrary to popular belief, she has been a teacher at SBCA-SOL long before she formally became part of the faculty. VolCorps is but one of the many living testaments to this truth.
Allow us to profoundly thank her through this letter, for she has personally trained and mentored so many of us. We are able to lead, to serve, and to help the way we do today because of her influence.
Truly, she has set the bar at an entirely new level.
She was, and continues to be, a mentor to numerous organizations, passing on her eagerness to serve and her passion to be part of something greater than ourselves. Because of her example, VC continues to extend its service to many organizations, and we are deeply blessed for every opportunity to work with all of them.
Beyond teaching, Atty. Kate built genuine bonds with her students. She is warm, welcoming, and a source of light to many. We take immense pride in having her as part of the San Beda College Alabang School of Law community.
Now, and on behalf of VolCorps, we give our warmest congratulations to Atty. Kathleen L. Capulong on her appointment as Vice Dean of the University of Asia and the Pacific β School of Law. We are certain that you will continue to carry the spirit of the happiest law school wherever you go, just as you have shared it so generously with us.
