Today, Quiapo Law celebrates a small but meaningful victory.
A criminal complaint filed against our client was previously dismissed by the Office of the Provincial Prosecutor. The complainant later elevated the matter through a Petition for Review before the Regional Prosecution Office โ Region VII, which has likewise been dismissed.
This case holds a special place for me personally because it was the very first criminal case I handled just a month after taking my oath as a lawyer. At that time, I was still a new practitioner with no office yet and not connected with any law firm, which made the trust given by our client even more meaningful.
The practice of law can be overwhelming at the beginning, especially without a formal mentor to guide you every step of the way. But I am deeply grateful for friends and colleagues who patiently answered my nonstop questions and late calls whenever I needed guidance.
Every experience teaches something valuable, and every small win reminds us why we continue to serve.
To our client, thank you for your trust.
We continue learning, growing, and fighting for our clients โ one case at a time.
