Supreme Court Associate Justice Henri Jean Paul B. Inting, Chairperson of the 2026 Shari’ah Special Bar Examinations (SSBE), today announced that a total of 235 out of 796 examinees or 29.52% passed the digitalized and regionalized special exams for the Shari’ah courts held on May 24 and 27, 2026.

The Office of the 2026 Shari’ah Special Bar Chairperson, Associate Justice Henri Jean Paul B. Inting, reminds the 2026 Shari’ah Special Bar Examinations applicants that there are only 𝟑 𝐃𝐀𝐘𝐒 𝐋𝐄𝐅𝐓 𝐭𝐨 𝐝𝐨𝐰𝐧𝐥𝐨𝐚𝐝 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐲 𝐟𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐬𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐞 𝐞𝐱𝐚𝐦.

Judicial leaders and key officers of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines gathered today for a preliminary meeting on the proposed National Convention of Shari’ah Counselors‑at‑Law, marking an important step toward advancing Shari’ah legal practice in the country.

In attendance were Supreme Court Senior Associate Justice Mario Victor F. Leonen, Associate Justice Antonio T. Kho, Jr.; Associate Justice Japar B. Dimaampao; Court of Appeals Associate Justice Edilwasif T. Baddiri ; IBP National President Atty. Allan G. Panolong; and IBP National Executive Director Atty. Patrick M. Velez, whose collective insights helped set the tone for this landmark initiative.
