The Official Page of the Association of Law Students of the Philippines - National Capital Region (ALSP-NCR)

The ALSP is a federation of more than sixty (60) law student governments all over the Philippines. Its members include all bona fide law students whose student councils have affiliated themselves to the ALSP. The ALSP is the officially recognized student counterpart of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines (IBP). The Office of the President through the National Youth Commission (NYC) also recognizes it as a legitimate national organization concerned with youth-related problems.

📸 ALSP-NCR SEPTEMBER DUMP | A RUN FOR THE BARRISTERS & A LAWNG MONTH TO CELEBRATE ⚖️💜

September was a month filled with purpose, service, and milestones for ALSP-NCR.

From giving our Bar Kits to our NCR barristers and standing with them throughout the three-day Bar Examinations, to celebrating their perseverance through our PERSEVERA: Towards the Oath Fun Run~we were reminded of what it means to show up for one another.

And the celebration did not end there. From our directors taking their Oath of Office, to being invited to and participating in meaningful initiatives for our country and the law student community, September was truly a month of service, leadership, and fellowship.

Every moment, every step, and every milestone is a reminder that we are part of something bigger than ourselves.

PERSEVERA: Towards the Oath - A Celebration of Perseverance and Purpose

On 20 September 2026, the Association of Law Students of the Philippines – National Capital Region (ALSP-NCR) successfully held PERSEVERA: Towards the Oath at Araneta City, Cubao, Quezon City.

The event brought together law students, supporters, volunteers, and members of the legal community in celebration of the 2026 Bar Takers, honoring their courage, determination, and perseverance throughout the Bar journey.

More than a run, PERSEVERA served as a reminder that every step toward the finish line represents countless sacrifices, challenges overcome, and dreams pursued.

ALSP-NCR extends its sincere gratitude to everyone who participated, supported, and contributed to the success of this event. To our runners, partners, sponsors, volunteers, and organizers, thank you for taking every step with us.

As we celebrate this milestone, may we continue to move forward with the same spirit of perseverance and purpose.

PERSEVERA: Towards the Oath Fun Run 2026 successfully concluded last September 20 at Araneta City, Cubao, Quezon City, bringing together the legal community and supporters for a morning of movement, camaraderie, and purpose.

The event gathered 𝟰𝟱𝟬 𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗲 𝗿𝘂𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝟭𝟬𝟬 𝘃𝗶𝗿𝘁𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗮𝗻𝘁𝘀, united by the spirit of perseverance and a shared commitment to community. More than a fun run, PERSEVERA 𝗰𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗯𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼𝗴𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗺𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗼𝗿𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘄𝗲𝗱 𝗽𝘂𝗿𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗲.

54 YEARS OF REMEMBRANCE | SEPTEMBER 21, 1972

Today, the Association of Law Students of the Philippines – National Capital Region (ALSP-NCR) joins the nation in commemorating the 54th anniversary of the declaration of Martial Law in the Philippines.

We remember September 21, 1972, when Proclamation No. 1081 was issued, marking a pivotal and deeply consequential chapter in our nation’s history.

As law students, remembering is more than looking back. It is an opportunity to understand the importance of the Rule of Law, human rights, constitutional liberties, and the institutions that safeguard them.

May this day remind us that the study of law carries with it a responsibility: to know our history, to learn from it, and to remain vigilant in upholding the rights and freedoms guaranteed by our Constitution.

We remember. We learn. We uphold the law.

BECAUSE NO BARRISTER SHOULD EVER FEEL THAT THEY STAND ALONE. ⚖️💙

Through the 2026 ALSP-NCR Bar Operations, we were honored to bring the 2026 ALSP-NCR BarKits to Bar Takers from various law schools across the NCR.

Visiting different schools allowed us to experience and appreciate the unique cultures and traditions of each law school, how they send off, support, and celebrate their barristers before they face one of the biggest examinations of their lives.

As much as we wanted to provide a BarKit to every single barrister, our resources were limited. Still, for every school and every barrister we were able to reach, being there and personally handing over a BarKit meant so much to us.

More than what was inside the kit, we hoped that seeing “Association of Law Students of the Philippines – NCR” would remind them that, this year, ALSP-NCR was there, visible, present, and standing alongside them as they took the Bar.

And to those we were unable to reach, please know that our desire to provide for every barrister was always there. We simply did what we could with the resources we have.

Our deepest gratitude goes to the lawyers, judges, commissioners, sponsors, benefactors, friends, families, and the ALSP-NCR Officers, Directors, and Assistant Officers who gave their time, resources, and effort to make this Bar Operations possible, especially those who helped prepare and distribute the BarKits in the days leading to the Bar Examinations.

Every BarKit may have been a small gesture, but behind each one was a simple message:

“We may not have been able to reach everyone, but we did everything we could to make you feel that you were never alone.”

To our 2026 Bar Takers, we saw your courage, your sacrifices, and your perseverance.

Race day is tomorrow, so here are two things to sort out before heading to Araneta.

Driving to the venue? Check the parking guide before you leave. Roads around the area will begin closing at 5:00 AM, so arriving by 4:30 AM is strongly recommended if you want a better chance of securing a parking slot.

And if you still haven’t registered, we still have a few race bibs left at a marked-down price, as only Small to XL sizes are available.

Once they’re gone, they’re gone.
