The ALSP is a federation of more than sixty (60) law student governments all over the Philippines. Its members include all bona fide law students whose student councils have affiliated themselves to the ALSP. The ALSP is the officially recognized student counterpart of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines (IBP). The Office of the President through the National Youth Commission (NYC) also recognizes it as a legitimate national organization concerned with youth-related problems.

It’s not too late for our very own July dump! 📸

July marked the beginning of a new term for ALSP-NCR. From our first board meetings and planning sessions to campus visits and conversations with law schools across the region, the month was all about getting to work, building connections, and setting our plans in motion.

A busy first month, but we are only getting started. Here’s to more meetings, partnerships, and meaningful initiatives in the months ahead!

Over 70 designated law student representatives from various law schools across the National Capital Region and nearby provinces gathered for the successful BSP Learning Session for the Academe, held in partnership with the Association of Law Students of the Philippines – National Capital Region (ALSP-NCR).

Participants gained valuable insights from BSP officials and legal experts on:

🔒 Anti-Financial Account Scamming Act
🛡️ Financial Consumer Protection Act
💬 BSP consumer protection initiatives and an interactive Open Forum

[IN PHOTOS] The Legal Education Board (LEB) welcomed the newly elected officers of the Association of Law Students of the Philippines (ALSP) for the Academic Year 2026-2027 during a Courtesy Visit and Alignment Meeting held on 16 July 2026 at the LEB Office.

Present during the meeting were LEB Chairperson Jason R. Barlis and Commissioners Lorenzo R. Reyes, Voltaire G. San Pedro, and Justine Kyle D. Mapalo. The engagement served as an avenue for the ALSP to share its vision, priorities, and planned initiatives for the term. The meeting also provided an opportunity for the LEB and ALSP to discuss current issues affecting law students and exchange insights on strengthening collaboration in support of quality legal education.

The LEB conveyed its commitment in fostering open communication and collaborative partnerships with student leaders in advancing quality, responsive, and learner-centered legal education in the Philippines.
