San Beda Law Journal’s 58th and most recent issue is finally here.

For this volume, the Executive Board gave the writers and editors free reign on determining legal issues to write about. The topics include and range from Philippine libel laws and statutory r**e under Criminal Law to premature campaigning and copyright laws under Political and Commercial Law.

The Bedan law practioners who contributed to the 58th Volume are Atty. Eric R. Recalde and Atty. Antonio Ceasar R. Manila.

On the other hand, the Bedan law students who wrote and edited the articles are David Jerome G. Dominguez, John Mark D. Cariño, Vida Camille R. Flores, Katrina Michaela D. Delfin, Gil Harvey S. Escarcha, Cedrik John C. Malabanan, Venica Nadine D. Natino, Bea Klariz L. Mandac, Cedrick C. Cabaluna, Aran Khristian A. Mendoza, and Micah Marie F. Naadat.

To the staff, contributors, readers, and individuals continuously supporting the Journal, our heartfelt gratitude and appreciation go. Again, we present the 58th Volume of the San Beda Law Journal.

San Beda University is a private Roman Catholic University administered by Benedictine monks in the Philippines. Tertiary education and senior high school are offered in its main campus in Manila while Integrated Basic Education is provided in its campus in Rizal.

The San Beda Law Journal held the last session of its two-day Writing Seminar this morning, February 27. The speakers include Atty. Alimar Mohammad Malabad, who gave guidance on Editing Law Review Journal Articles, and Atty. Jun Marr Denila, who imparted knowledge on Locating and Selecting Topics for Law Journal Articles. Also present during the activity was SBLJ’s adviser, Atty. Lyan Juanico.

The San Beda University - College of Law extends its warmest greetings to one of its professors, Hon. Antonio T. Kho, Jr. for his recent appointment as an Associate Justice of the Supreme Court of the Philippines.

Justice Kho graduated from the College of Law in 1991 and placed 10th in the bar exams administered during the same year.
