We have been preparing for our office summer outing — a chance for everyone to step away from deadlines, hearings, meetings, and emails for a while and simply enjoy each other’s company outside the workplace.

The outing is not just about the venue or activities. It is also an opportunity to strengthen teamwork, build better working relationships, and create good memories together as one team. After months of hard work, everyone deserves time to recharge.

One of the highlights of the preparations has been the ocular inspection of the venue. Beyond checking the facilities and logistics, it has also built excitement for the trip itself and reminded everyone that good preparation helps make shared experiences more enjoyable for the whole team.

We look forward to a fun, safe, and memorable outing for everyone.

On February 9, 2026, we celebrated GSMH Law’s 18th anniversary with a Mass and a blessing for our office and our people.

Eighteen years of practice have been built not only on legal skill and hard work, but on faith, trust, and shared purpose. We are grateful for the clients who place their confidence in us, the colleagues who grow with us, and the community that continues to support our journey.

GSMH Law congratulates Angelica Joyce M. Sering for successfully passing the 2025 Bar Examinations!

Angelica Joyce M. Sering earned her Juris Doctor Degree from the San Beda College Alabang School of Law in 2025. During her legal studies, she served as team leader at the Rene A.V. Saguisag Legal Aid Center, where she was actively involved in public service and clinical legal work, providing legal assistance to underserved communities.

She also has a degree in Bachelor of Science in Mining Engineering from the University of the Philippines Diliman in 2019. She is a licensed Mining Engineer, having passed the licensure examination in the same year.

GSMH Law congratulates Robert John Christian B. Samarita II for successfully passing the 2025 Bar Examinations!

Robert John Christian B. Samarita II earned his Juris Doctor degree from the University of the Philippines College of Law. During law school, he was a member of the Bar Operations Commission from 2023 to 2024 and played for the UP Law Men’s Football Team in 2025.

He completed legal internships with Pelaez Gregorio Gregorio & Lim in 2023 and the Energy Regulatory Commission in 2025.

He also holds a degree in Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from the University of the Philippines–Diliman, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude.

GSMH Law congratulates Samantha Yves O. Placido for successfully passing the 2025 Bar Examinations!

Samantha Yves O. Placido obtained her Juris Doctor degree from the San Beda University College of Law. In law school, she was a legal aid intern, the Vice President of Internal Affairs of the San Beda Legal Aid Bureau, and a member of the San Beda Human Rights Advocates.

Ms. Placido also obtained a degree in Bachelor of Arts in Social Sciences, Major in Economics and Minor in Political Science from the University of the Philippines-Baguio. During her undergraduate studies, she was a consistent college scholar.

GSMH Law congratulates Aerol D. Nebril for successfully passing the 2025 Bar Examinations!

Aerol D. Nebril earned his Juris Doctor degree and was awarded the Dean’s Medal for Academic Excellence in 2025 at the University of the Philippines College of Law. In law school, Aerol served as one of the commissioners for its Electoral Commission and as member of the Academic Layout Committee of the Bar Operations Commission. Aerol also worked as a Student Research Assistant at UP Law Center’s Institute of Human Rights.

He also has a degree in Bachelor of Science in Computer Science graduate from the University of the Philippines Visayas. During his undergraduate years, he served as President of UP Interactive Society, the official academic organization of Computer Science students at UPV Tacloban College.

Maria Jocelyn B. Cerezo earned her Juris Doctor degree in 2025 from San Beda College Alabang School of Law, demonstrating both leadership and a strong commitment to legal service. She served as Secretary General of the San Beda Law Student Government and was a member of the Rene A.V. Saguisag Legal Aid Center, providing legal assistance to underserved communities.

She also spent three years with First Day Life Inc., as an Executive Assistant to its Chief Executive Officer, a member of the Marketing Department to support affiliation initiatives, and a leader of its Chargebacks and Disputes Unit for Customer Service Support.

She also has a degree in Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from University of Santo Tomas and was the recipient of the Best Work Study Paper Award among the Industrial Engineering Batch of 2020. During her undergraduate studies, she served as Assistant Academics Head of the Industrial Engineering Circle from 2017 to 2018 and interned with PAL Express under the Corporate Strategies and Business Excellence Department, Integrated Management Systems Division.
