Assalamoalaikom!

Breaking this page’s year-long hiatus by sharing to our 2024 Special Shariah Bar Exam (SSBE) warriors the attached 2011 SSBE Wills and Succession questions and suggested answers.

The handwritten suggested answers were done during my self-imposed daily mock bars one (1) month from the Exam period when I took the 2022 SSBE. It's the Holy Month of Ramadhan and Shariah Bar Exam is also just a month away. Studying on an empty stomach is difficult but with the Almighty's help, one (1) month is still plenty of time.

A tip I can and always share especially for the ‘crammers’ out there and those who did not have much time to review/study these past months is to focus on previous SSBE Bar questions and to do daily mock bars. For the answers, do not rely on answers given by others. Formulate your own applying your chosen style of answering. Trust me, this will do wonders. Although the SSBE, like the regular Bar, will now be digital, the styling of questions and answers should still be the same.

Hi All!

I took the liberty of modifying Atty. Kit Tatad, Jr.'s TECHNIQUES IN ANSWERING BAR QUESTIONS for the SSBE candidates. Here, I selected the simplest lines/expressions, removed the lengthy/wordy ones, and added some of mine. These may also prove useful for regular Bar Exam candidates.

These lines/expressions are handy since arguably, the most difficult part of answering a Bar Exam question (regular or special) is almost always writing the first words. Just finding the right words to start one's answers is already time-consuming.

More importantly, a responsive answer is readily apparent from the introductory line of any given answer. That’s why clarity of the answer is equally as important as its accuracy.

GEAR UP, BAR WARRIORS! See the latest changes in the Bar Exam for 2022.

-From the 2-day exam of 2020/21 Bar, it’s back to 4 days—non-cosecutive days but within 2 weeks instead of a whole month.

-Exact dates of the exam yet to be announced.

-Civil Law is now split into two for the entirety of Day 3.

-Remedial Law is now split to Remedial Law I in the morning and Remedial Law II merged with Legal Ethics in the afternoon of Day 4.

-NO MORE TAXATION LAW as a separate subject. Instead, Tax Principles is merged with Political Law and Tax Remedies with Remedial Law II.

-Criminal Law is now 15% and Commercial Law, 10%.

-Practical exercises now included for Criminal Law and Civil Law.

Fret not for no matter how many changes there will be in the Bar, claim that you will be triumphant no matter what. 💪🏻

Hi All!

Our BAR REVIEW QUIZZERS on each of the eight (8) Bar subjects are still very much available for shipping nationwide.

While the 2020/2021 Bar Exam merged the subjects into four (4), we deemed it best to keep our quizzers separated in eight (8) subjects so that bar candidates and law students alike can make use of the same.

We have also included—for purposes of the 2022 Special Shari’ah Bar Examinations (SBE)—a Q&A flashcard version of the 180+ provisions of P.D. 1083. This aims to aid our SBE examinees in not just memorizing the words of the said provisions but also to familiarize themselves with the substance for better memory retention.

Orders bound to Iligan-Marawi-CDO may be picked up in Iligan City. Orders from Metro Manila will be delivered via Lalamove while Orders coming from other areas will be shipped via LBC.

On another note, it has come to our attention that flashcards STRIKINGLY SIMILAR to our regular Bar Review quizzers in terms of title, content, and materials are being sold for DOUBLE THE PRICE of ours. (Please see comment section for reference).

While we are not the first to offer Bar review quizzers/flashcards, PLEASE KNOW THAT OUR QUIZZERS ARE SEPARATE AND DISTINCT from said quizzers and that these sellers are in no way affiliated to us.
