Bonifacio Global City was once part of a multi-hectare portion of Taguig that the United States government acquired in 1902 and operated as a military base.

In 1990s approximately 240-hectares of Fort Bonifacio was turned over to the Bases Conversion Development Authority (BCDA) to facilitate the conversion of former US military bases and Metro Manila camps into productive civilian use. In 2003, it entered into a landmark partnership with BCDA to help shape and develop Bonifacio Global City – an area once synonymous with war and aggression – into the amiable, nurturing, world-class business and residential center it is today.

MRT-4 PROJECT: FROM DREAM TO REALITY 🚉🇵🇭

Ang Department of Transportation (DOTr) sa ilalim ng pamumuno ni Secretary Art Tugade, ay kasamang isinusulong ang Metro Rail Transit Line 4 (MRT-4) project na babaybay mula San Juan City hanggang Taytay via Ortigas Avenue.

Ipinasilip sa page ng Emerging Philippines mula sa post ni Allan De Leon ang MRT-4 project na magdudugtong mula sa Metro Manila hanggang probinsya ng Rizal, kasama ang mga istasyon nito.

Sa ilalim ng administrasyon Duterte, matagumpay na naisulong ang contract agreement ng DOTr at IDOM Consulting, Engineering, Architechture, SA, isang Spain-based firm para sa detailed architertural at engineering design ng MRT-4 project noong 2021.

Oras na matapos ang proyekto, mapapabilis ang travel time ng ating mga kababayan mula N.Domingo sa San Juan hanggang Taytay ng 27minuto mula sa dating 1.5 oras.

METRO MANILA SUBWAY ORTIGAS STATIONS TO BEGIN IN JULY🇵🇭🇯🇵

Tokyu Construction Co., Lt (Construction Co., Ltd. & Mega Wide Co., Ltd. joint venture) has released "Metro Manila Subway Project Contract Package 104: Two underground Stations (Ortigas North and Ortigas South) and Tunnels" by Japanese ODA in the Philippines. Received an order from the Department of Transportation Railway Sector and held a contract signing ceremony in the capital Manila on May 5.

This project is the flagship project of the infrastructure development plan "Build Build Build" and will be the first subway in the country.

The CP101 construction area on the north side of Phase 1 (total underground length 6.8 km, 4 stations, 1 set of depot) has already started construction as a pre-opening section, and this time the remaining section (total underground length 20.7 km, 11 stations), we received an order for CP104 construction area ( Ortigas station- Shaw station) in the important line connecting NAIA Terminal 3 in the north from Quezon City for about 43 billion yen.
