ANSWER: If you get a house under PAGIBIG OR BANK FINANCING, not the whole price of the property will be lent to you. Usually 80-90 % will be lent, the remaining 10-20 % value of the house will be DOWNPAYMENT or in other term EQUITY, this is protection in PAGIBIG / BANK that you are decided to pay and also protection to your BORROWER that you can't just get rid of it without any reason because you have 10-20 % OWNERSHIP in your HOUSE 😊💡
