Philippines law firm VAL l Vasig Abarquez Law has launched a dedicated gaming, hospitality and entertainment practice group.

Headed by Glenn Ocampo, formerly a director and head executive assistant in the Philippine Department of Tourism, the practice also includes Deriq and Miguel Carlos Pangilinan, both of whom bring significant experience in gaming licensing, regulation and compliance.

Founding and managing partner Elyrhey Vasig said the move reflected increasing activity in the sector and evolving client needs.

Vasig added the formation of the practice would “only be the beginning”, with further expansion expected in line with client demand.

Ultimately, VAL Law aims to build one of the leading gaming, hospitality and entertainment practices in the Philippines by offering a combination of regulatory expertise, industry knowledge and commercial advice.

VAL proudly congratulates Glenn Albert M. Ocampo for placing 9th in the Career Executive Service Written Examination (CESWE), where only 68.25% of examinees nationwide passed.

Glenn heads VAL’s Gaming, Hospitality, and Entertainment Practice Group. Prior to joining the Firm, he served as a Director of the Department of Tourism, bringing with him extensive experience in public service, tourism development, and regulatory governance.

Today, Glenn advises clients on Gaming and Leisure Licensing, Regulation, and Compliance, helping businesses navigate highly regulated industries with strategic and practical legal guidance.
