BIR CHECKLIST OF DOCUMENTARY REQUIREMENTS FOR PAYMENT OF ESTATE TAX

Mandatory Requirements:

1. TIN of ESTATE
2. Certificate of Death
3. Any of the following: a) Affidavit of Self-Adjudication, b) Deed of Extra-Judicial Settlement of Estate, c) court order if settled judicially, d) Sworn Declaration of all properties of the Estate;
4. Official Receipt/Deposit Slip and duly validated return as proof of payment

For REAL PROPERTIES: if any

1. certified true copy of latest Tax Declaration issued by the local Assessor's Office for land and improvement;
2. Original owner's copy of title/TCT (for presentation purposes only together with certified true copies thereof)
3. Sworn Declaration of No Improvement or Certificate of No Improvement when applicable;

FOR PERSONAL PROPERTIES: if any

1. Certificate of Deposit/investment/indebtedness owned by decedent and/or surviving spouse duly signed by the bank manager;
2. Certificate of Registration/OR of motor vehicles in the name of decedent at the time of death
3. Proof of valuation of any shares of stock of decedent
