AAQCD Law is pleased to announce the promotion of Atty. Angelica Marie M. Tan to Senior Associate. Atty. Tan has demonstrated exceptional dedication and proficiency in her practice, with a growing expertise in immigration law, labor law, intellectual property law, litigation, and corporate law. Her promotion reflects her consistent performance and commitment to delivering high-quality legal service.

She earned her Juris Doctor degree from the University of the Philippines College of Law in 2022 and was admitted to the Bar in 2023. Prior to law school, she completed her undergraduate studies in Business Economics at the University of the Philippines Diliman. Following her graduation in 2014, she joined RCBC Savings Bank as a Management Trainee and later served as a Liabilities Product Manager until she pursued her legal career in 2017.

AAQCD Law is proud to announce the promotion of Atty. Clarissa M. De Vera to the position of Partner. Atty. De Vera is a highly respected practitioner whose breadth of experience in corporate law, taxation, litigation, and special projects has made her an invaluable member of the Firm. Her promotion reflects not only her professional excellence but also her steadfast commitment to the Firm’s values and clients.

She obtained her Juris Doctor degree from the University of the Philippines College of Law in 2018, and graduated cm laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of the Philippines-Manila in 2013. Prior to entering law school, she worked as a licensed broker for E-Trade Financial, a U.S.-based brokerage firm, where she earned her Series 7 and 63 Licenses.

During her time in law school, Atty. De Vera served as a Research Assistant to both the Director of the Office of Legal Aid and the Vice Dean of the De La Salle University College of Law. She also gained valuable experience as an intern at the Office of the Solicitor General and the U.P. Office of Legal Aid.

Her promotion to Partner reflects her unwavering commitment to excellence and the values that define our Firm. We extend our warmest congratulations to Atty. De Vera and look forward to her continued leadership and contributions as a Partner.

AAQCD Law is pleased to announce the promotion of Atty. Genamari Leigh M. Jacob to Senior Associate. Since joining the Firm, Atty. Jacob has consistently demonstrated sound judgment and a practical approach to handling matters across litigation, corporate law, labor, and family-related concerns. Her recent work in insurance, tax, and labor law reflects her growing depth in these areas and her ability to manage complex issues with clarity and care.

She began her legal career with Dumlao and Castillo Law Offices and has since earned the trust of clients through her thoughtful advocacy and reliable counsel. Among her notable contributions is her early adoption of the administrative procedures for legal adoption, being one of the first practitioners to implement the framework following amendments to the governing law.

Atty. Jacob holds a Juris Doctor degree from San Sebastian College-Recoletos Manila and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Santo Tomas. She also completed an internship at the National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA), which helped shape her understanding of policy and public service.
