Our Firm, Quial Ginez Beltran &
Yu Law Offices, is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Docket Officer to support our litigation practice.

This role is critical to the accurate management, tracking, and safeguarding of case files, pleadings, court issuances, and deadlines, both in physical folders and in our electronic docket system.

Key Responsibilities:
âś” Centralized custody and organization of case records
âś” Docketing of pleadings, court processes, and key deadlines
âś” Maintenance of physical and electronic case files
âś” Coordination with lawyers and litigation support staff
âś” Strict confidentiality and compliance with court rules

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Legal Management, Business Administration, or related field
•Experience as a Docket Officer, Legal Secretary, or Litigation Support Staff is an advantage
•Familiarity with court procedures, filing systems, and litigation timelines
•Proficiency in document management systems and basic office software
•Highly organized, detail-oriented, discreet, and dependable

Grateful for the Arbitral Tribunal’s wisdom and our client’s trust.

In June 2025, Claimant commenced arbitration involving a total claim of ₱74.6 million. We filed Respondent’s Answer the following month, seeking outright dismissal. After the Terms of Reference were finalized in September, evidentiary hearings were conducted on 5–6 November 2025. With the submission of the parties’ memoranda the following month, the case was submitted for decision.

On 13 January 2026, we received the Final Award from the Construction Industry Arbitration Commission. Of the ₱74.6 million claimed, only ₱17.0 million was awarded.

Our client’s message after receiving the Award reminds us why we burn the midnight candle and advocate fiercely— but fairly:

“We consider this award a positive outcome, given the amount awarded vis-à-vis the claim and settlement figures. On behalf of our team, we sincerely thank you and your team for your outstanding support, guidance, diligence, expertise, and responsiveness throughout the proceedings.”
