It is with deep sadness that I share that my client, whom I represented on a pro-bono basis, passed away today after tragically attempting to take his own life on May 13, 2026, while the case against him was still pending before the court.
This heartbreaking incident is a painful reminder that accusations are not convictions, and that every person facing a case carries burdens that may not be visible to others.
May this serve as a reminder for all of us to choose compassion and restraint in our words and judgments. Sometimes, the weight of shame, fear, and public condemnation becomes heavier than the case itself.
