𝐔𝐍𝐎𝐅𝐅𝐈𝐂𝐈𝐀𝐋 𝐋𝐈𝐒𝐓 𝐎𝐅 𝐂𝐀𝐍𝐃𝐈𝐃𝐀𝐓𝐄𝐒

The NU Clark Student Commission on Elections (SCOMELEC) reports that as of May 14, 2026, 1:00 PM, there remains only one (1) applicant for all elective positions in the University Student Council (USC) and School Student Councils (SSCs).

Please note that this list merely reflects the current pool of applicants. All applicants remain subject to validation by the SCOMELEC, in coordination with the relevant offices, to determine eligibility and compliance with the Electoral Code.

Students interested in running for elective positions may still file their candidacy through the following links:

Before proceeding with the application form, applicants are advised to prepare the following documents in PDF format:

• Leave of Absence Letter signed by the highest officer of the USC or concerned RSO, together with the organization adviser/s (applicable only to students occupying executive positions);
• Updated Curriculum Vitae; and
• Recent 2x2 Photo.

To streamline the candidacy filing process, the SCOMELEC shall independently coordinate with the Discipline Office for verification of applicants’ good moral standing and with the respective Program Chairs for academic eligibility.

Please note that submission of the application form does not automatically guarantee official candidacy. Only applicants included in the official vetted list to be released by the SCOMELEC shall be recognized as official candidates.

These are the words that echo the story of 𝗗𝗿. 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗥𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝗔𝘆𝘀𝗼𝗻. As the driving force behind the General Education Department of NU Clark from its pioneering year to its current third year. Her leadership stands as a testament to vision, courage, and resilience.

Her journey reflects more than personal success, it embodies the quiet strength of a woman who balances multiple identities with equal grace as a professor, a leader, and a mother. In every role she assumes, there is a consistent thread of purpose and that is to build, to nurture, and to inspire.

Fear did not restrain her from continuing forward. Instead, it became a companion she learned to confront transforming uncertainty into action, and doubt into determination. She chose to move despite hesitation, to lead despite challenges, and to grow despite the weight of expectations.

In a society where women are often asked to choose between ambition and responsibility, Dr. Ayson’s story defies that limitation. She proves that it is possible to pursue both, to lead with authority while nurturing with compassion.
