The vision of a more connected Lipa, Batangas is moving closer to reality, with the inauguration of Section 1 of the Lipa City-Mataas na Kahoy Diversion Road last March 26.
This 4.35-kilometer bypass directly links Katigbak Road to Leviste Highway and the STAR Tollway, significantly reducing travel time between Batangas and Metro Manila and improving overall mobility within the region.
Areza, the emerging New City Center of Lipa, is located along this route. With the new bypass, access to the estate is faster and more convenient, strengthening its appeal for commercial, retail, and mixed-use developments.
The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) and the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Lipa led the inauguration, attended by key leaders: Executive Secretary Ralph G. Recto, DSWD Secretary Rex Gatchalian, DPWH Secretary Vince Dizon, DepEd Secretary Sonny Angara, Congressman Ryan Christian Recto, Lipa City Mayor Eric Africa, and Batangas 4th District Cong. Caloy Bolilia.
