NEWS TODAY! || Pinayag National High School Opens School Year 2026โ2027 with Unity and Inspiration
The first day of classes at Pinayag National High School today, June 8, 2026 marked a memorable and heartfelt beginning to the new academic year, filled with patriotism, faith, and community spirit.
The program commenced with the nationalistic song led by Ms. Ivy Bastor, followed by the Panunumpa sa Watawat ng Pilipinas conducted by Mr. Michael Pilde. The atmosphere then shifted to a solemn and uplifting praise and worship, led by Ms. Maricar Ngadanan and Mr. Adonis Velasco, together with the SSLG Officers, setting a tone of gratitude and hope for the year ahead.
A special prayer for the school, students, teachers, and administrators was offered by the Barangay Officials and Elders, symbolizing the strong partnership between the school and the community. One of the BLGU representatives, Mr. Marlon Lupaas, delivered a heartfelt message encouraging both new and returning students to take their studies seriously and value education as a lifelong investment.
The PTA President followed with a reminder for students to uphold discipline and avoid negative behaviors such as bullying, both inside and outside the school.
This yearโs opening program was a first-of-its-kind, blending civic, spiritual, and motivational elements to inspire learners and educators alike.
After the community messages, Dr. Mark Anthony I. Gano, the school head, delivered his orientation and welcome address, emphasizing the schoolโs commitment to excellence and unity. Mr. Adonis Velasco, SSLG Adviser, also discussed the Rules and Regulations crafted by the SSLG Officers, promoting student leadership and accountability.
The program continued with the introduction of Senior High School and Junior High School teachers, as well as the SSLG Officers, fostering familiarity and teamwork among the school community.
The day concluded with the finalization of sectioning across all grade levels.
The opening day reflected the schoolโs mantra โ โBeyond Borders, We Riseโ โ as students, teachers, and stakeholders came together to begin another year of learning, growth, and shared purpose. #
