NEWS TODAY! || Pinayag National High School Opens School Year 2026–2027 with Unity and Inspiration

The first day of classes at Pinayag National High School today, June 8, 2026 marked a memorable and heartfelt beginning to the new academic year, filled with patriotism, faith, and community spirit.

The program commenced with the nationalistic song led by Ms. Ivy Bastor, followed by the Panunumpa sa Watawat ng Pilipinas conducted by Mr. Michael Pilde. The atmosphere then shifted to a solemn and uplifting praise and worship, led by Ms. Maricar Ngadanan and Mr. Adonis Velasco, together with the SSLG Officers, setting a tone of gratitude and hope for the year ahead.

A special prayer for the school, students, teachers, and administrators was offered by the Barangay Officials and Elders, symbolizing the strong partnership between the school and the community. One of the BLGU representatives, Mr. Marlon Lupaas, delivered a heartfelt message encouraging both new and returning students to take their studies seriously and value education as a lifelong investment.

The PTA President followed with a reminder for students to uphold discipline and avoid negative behaviors such as bullying, both inside and outside the school.

This year’s opening program was a first-of-its-kind, blending civic, spiritual, and motivational elements to inspire learners and educators alike.

After the community messages, Dr. Mark Anthony I. Gano, the school head, delivered his orientation and welcome address, emphasizing the school’s commitment to excellence and unity. Mr. Adonis Velasco, SSLG Adviser, also discussed the Rules and Regulations crafted by the SSLG Officers, promoting student leadership and accountability.

The program continued with the introduction of Senior High School and Junior High School teachers, as well as the SSLG Officers, fostering familiarity and teamwork among the school community.

The day concluded with the finalization of sectioning across all grade levels.

The opening day reflected the school’s mantra — “Beyond Borders, We Rise” — as students, teachers, and stakeholders came together to begin another year of learning, growth, and shared purpose. #

LOOK || Pinayag NHS Teachers excel in Revised Curriculum Training

Sixteen teachers from Pinayag National High School actively participated and successfully completed the Revised Grades 6, 9, and 10 Curriculum Training Program held on June 2–5, 2026 at Nueva Vizcaya General Comprehensive High School, Bayombong.

The training was conducted pursuant to DepEd Memorandum DM-OULS-2026-082 and organized by the Schools Division of Nueva Vizcaya through the School Governance and Operations Division–Human Resource Development Section, in collaboration with the Curriculum Implementation Division.

The Pinayag NHS delegation was composed of:

Pinayag National High School proudly opened its Brigada Eskwela 2026 Kick-Off Program today, June 1, bringing together parents, teachers, alumni, and community stakeholders in a united effort to prepare the school for the upcoming academic year.

Right after registration, participants immediately rolled up their sleeves and began the Brigada activities — cleaning classrooms, repairing facilities, and organizing donations. The atmosphere was filled with energy and cooperation as the community worked hand in hand to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for learners.

A total of 95 attendees joined the kick-off, representing various sectors of the community. School Head Dr. Mark Anthony I. Gano, PhD and BE Coordinator Michael Pilde led the initiative, emphasizing that Brigada Eskwela is not just about physical preparation but also about strengthening the spirit of bayanihan.
