DTI VI’s first batch of mentees completes course

The first batch of mentees enrolled under the Kapatid Mentor ME (KMME) – a program of the DTI, in partnership with Philippine Center for Entrepreneurship (PCE) – Go Negosyo, will conclude their course on Thursday, June 10.

On March 23, a total of 48 mentees composed of micro, small and medium enterprises joined the program in their aspiration to scale up their business through weekly coaching and mentoring by business owners and practitioners on different functional areas of entrepreneurship.

This year’s first batch of entrepreneurs could capitalize the program as an avenue to enhance their resiliency through a crisis. Likewise, it will help them become more competitive in their business and will establish better business linkages.

Since 2016, the DTI VI has already produced 544 mentee-graduates in Western Visayas. #

When registering your business with BIR, be aware that there are additional expenses you must pay, in addition to the annual registration fee required.

 Filled-up BIR Form 1901 (Application for Registration) 3 copies
One (1) Copy of the following:
 Taxpayer’s Identification Number (TIN) –if a registered taxpayer
 Mayor’s Permit
 DTI Certificate of Business Name Registration
 Any identification issued by an authorized government body (e.g. Birth Certificate, passport, driver’s license,
Community Tax Certificate, postal ID, UMID) – Xerox
 Sketch of Business Address
 If location of business is owned: Tax Declaration or Title–xerox
 If location of business is rented: Contract of Lease – 2 copies
 If location of business is not renting: Certification from Owner/Consent
 Pay Documentary Stamps on Lease (Form 2000) at any Accredited Banks or collection agents- xerox
 Pay Annual Registration Fee : PhP500.00 (Form 0605) at any Accredited Banks or collection agents – Xerox
 Documentary Stamp : PhP 30.00 at the Collection Section
 Special Power of Attorney (S.P.A.) with valid ID, if through a representative
 Application for Authority to Print (ATP) Form 1906– Printing Press ( Sample of receipts/invoices, Job Order, , COR,
accreditation & Registration Fee)
