Can a father avail of the remedies under RA No. 9262 on behalf of his minor child against the mother's violent and abusive acts?

Yes, in the case of abusive mothers.

According to the Supreme Court, a woman could be charged for committing violence against their children within the context of RA 9262. Children who suffered abuses from their own mothers may now avail of the mandates of this law.
