JUST IN: Ayon sa National Task Force for COVID-19, hindi na kinakailangan na maglagay o magsuot ng motorcycle barrier ang rider at sakay nito kung naninirahan sa iisahang bahay sa ilalim ng General Community Quarantine (GCQ).

Epektibo ito simula bukas, Agosto 19.

Samantala, ang mga magka-angkas naman na hindi sa iisang bahay nakatira ay kinakailangang maglagay o magsuot ng Angkas designed barrier.

Kinakailangan rin na ang sakay ay APOR, pribadong motorsiklo ang gamit at hindi "for hire".

The MPCALA Holdings, Inc. said on Thursday, August 13, that the Toll Regulatory Board (TRB) has approved the rate structure for several interchanges of the Cavite-Laguna Expressway (CALAX).

The operator shared the following approved toll were inclusive of value added tax (VAT):

• Santa Rosa - Tagaytay to Greenfield (Mamplasan) Exit toll for Class 1 vehicles (private vehicles) = P47
• Santa Rosa - Tagaytay to Greenfield (Mamplasan) Exit toll for Class 2 vehicles (medium-sized trucks and buses) = P95
• Santa Rosa - Tagaytay to Greenfield (Mamplasan) Exit toll for Class 3 vehicles (large trucks, trailers) = P143
• Those entering from Laguna Boulevard exiting Greenfield (Mamplasan) Exit Class 1 = P30, Class 2 = P60, Class3 = P91
• Santa Rosa - Tagaytay to Laguna Technopark Exit toll for Class 1 = P32
• Santa Rosa - Tagaytay to Laguna Technopark Exit toll for Class 2 = P65
• Santa Rosa - Tagaytay to Laguna Technopark Exit toll for Class 3 = P98
• Laguna Boulevard - Laguna Technopark Exit toll for Class 1 = P15

These fees are effective upon operation of the interchanges, which is set this August, the operator said.

MPCALA president and general manager Roberto V. Bontia said, “Opening these interchanges would significantly reduce traffic to and from Laguna, Cavite, Batangas provinces and nearby areas by decongesting Laguna Boulevard and Aguinaldo Highway."

The entire CALAX has nine interchanges in Kawit, Governor's Drive, Aguinaldo Highway, Silang, Sta. Rosa-Tagaytay, Laguna Boulevard, Laguna Technopark and a toll barrier before SLEX, the MPCALA stated.

Nakatakdang buksan ang Laguna Boulevard, at Laguna Technopark interchanges ng Cavite-Laguna Expressway (CALAx) para sa mga motorista ngayong darating na linggo.

Ito ang naging anunsyo sa isang virtual press briefing ni Public Works Secretary Mark Villar nitong Sabado.

“[The opening] is most likely, Monday or maybe this weekend we can open it already. We will coordinate with [MPCALA] on the exact time,” pahayag ni Villar.

Sinabi ni MPCALA Holdings Inc. president and general manager Roberto Bontia na ang dalawang interchanges ng CALAx ay kumpleto na at ang kompanya ay naghihintay na lamang sa pahintulot ng gobyerno na buksan ito sa publiko.

Samantala, inaprubahan na ng Toll Regulatory Board ang singil para sa toll sa Laguna Boulevard Interchange at Laguna Technopark Interchange.

Sakaling maging operasyonal, ang mga motorista ay magkakaroon ng access papunta sa at mula sa Laguna Technopark at magkaroon ng alternatibong ruta papunta sa at mula sa Nuvali sa pamamagitan ng Laguna Boulevard at South Boulevard, sa ganitong paraan, luluwag ang Santa Rosa-Tagaytay Road at iba pang local service roads sa lugar.

Noong Oktubre 2019, binuksan ng MPCALA para sa mga motorista ang Mamplasan Toll Barrier patungo sa Santa Rosa-Tagaytay Interchange subsection ng CALAx.

Ang kahabaan ng CALAx ay mayroong siyam na interchanges sa mga sumusunod na lokasyon: Kawit, Governor’s Drive, Aguinaldo Highway, Silang, Santa Rosa-Tagaytay, Laguna Boulevard, Laguna Technopark, at sa isang toll barrier bago ang South Luzon Expressway.

Ito ay isang 45-kilometrong, apat na linyang expressway na magkokonekta sa Manila-Cavite Expressway sa Kawit, Cavite patungo sa South Luzon Expressway sa Mamplasan Interchange sa Biñan.

Ang MPCALA Holdings ay isang subsidiary ng Metro Pacific Tollways Corporation, na siya ring may hawak ng concession rights para sa CAVITEX, Cavitex C5 Link, North Luzon Expressway (NLEx), NLEx Connector Road, Subic-Clark-Tarlac Expressway (SCTEx), at ang Cebu-Cordova Link Expressway (CCLEx) sa Cebu.
