LOOK | DAVAO’S NEXT GREAT SKYLINE IS TAKING SHAPE

Davao Global Township (DGT) Phase 1, a P33-billion estate project spanning 22 hectares on the former Davao Golf Club, is steadily transforming into one of the most anticipated central business districts in Mindanao. The development is a joint venture between Cebu Landmasters and the Villa-Abrille Clan of Davao through YHEST Realty and Development Corporation, marking Cebu Landmasters’ first estate development outside of the Visayas region.

West Village at DGT made waves last year with the launch of two of its four towers, each rising 16 floors. East Village at DGT, inspired by Danish design and Davaoeño culture, is composed of six towers, with Tower 1 already topped off at 12 floors, and Towers 5-6 are currently in bored piling activities. Adjacent to the township, Matina Enclaves by ESDEVCO (Escandor Development Corporation) continues to grow alongside DGT. Buildings A through C have been completed, Building D is set for turnover, and Building E has been topped off. ESDEVCO is also developing the Enclaves Towers, a 27-floor high-rise that further reflects growing investor confidence in the area.

Beyond its residential offerings, DGT is drawing significant institutional and commercial locators. Committed office locators Insular Life and BDO are expected to bring substantial corporate activity to the estate once their developments break ground. De La Salle University is also set to establish a vertical campus within the township, adding a key academic anchor to the growing estate.

As Davao Global Township continues to reach major milestones, it is poised to redefine Davao City’s urban landscape for generations to come. LOOK: Hans Sy, one of the owners of the SM Group and son of the late Henry Sy Sr., visited Davao City on Saturday, signaling strong confidence in the city’s growing role as an education and investment hub in Mindanao.

During the visit, officials of National University toured the soon-to-open NU Davao campus located inside the expansion building of SM City Davao.

The campus marks NU’s first venture in Mindanao and its 15th nationwide, offering a unique setup as a school integrated within a mall environment.

It is expected to accommodate around 1,500 students in its initial college and senior high school programs, with classes set to begin in July.

TIMELESS CHRISTMAS AT DGT 🎄🎁🎅

Davao Global Township (DGT) lit up its 50-foot-tall Christmas tree adorned with colorful decorations and gifts, truly ushering in the Christmas season with the theme “Timeless Christmas at DGT” on Sunday, November 23, 2025.

DGT was filled with Dabawenyos enjoying the ceremony. OPM band Silent Sanctuary is also set to perform and serenade the crowd tonight.

During the program, DGT pledged ₱500,000 to its supported charity, the House of Hope—beautifully embodying the true spirit of Christmas: giving.
