LOOK: Ma-a–Magtud Flyover to Open on March 2

The Department of Public Works and Highways – Region XI has announced the official opening of the Ma-a–Magtud Flyover to motorists beginning Monday, March 2, 2026, at 6:00 AM.

The new flyover is expected to ease traffic congestion and improve mobility along the busy corridor, providing faster and more efficient travel for daily commuters.

Drivers are reminded to observe posted road signs and comply with traffic rules to ensure safety and maintain a steady flow of vehicles.

🚦 Ma-a Flyover Opens on March 2, 2026

The City Transport and Traffic Management Office (CTTMO) announces that the **Ma-a Flyover** will officially open to motorists beginning **March 2, 2026**.

Motorists are advised to take note of the following traffic regulations to ensure smooth flow and safety in the area:

🚛 Truck Regulations

No trucks allowed on the Ma-a Flyover during truck ban hours:
🕔 5:00 AM – 9:00 AM
🕓 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM
📅 Monday to Friday
This includes trucks with exemptions.

🚫 Turning Restrictions Near Davao Christian High School

No left turn when exiting the school.

Vehicles must turn right and make a U-turn ahead.

Left turn from the Ma-a Flyover into the school is allowed only during:
➡️5:00 AM – 9:00 AM
➡️4:00 PM – 8:00 PM
➡️Monday to Friday
No left turn from Ma-a Road into the school. Motorists must use Ma-a Bypass Road and make a U-turn instead.

🔄 Directional Flow Adjustments

➡️Vehicles from Ma-a Road heading to Magtuod Road or C.P. Garcia Highway (southbound) must turn right and make a U-turn ahead.

➡️Vehicles from Magtuod Road going to Ma-a Road or C.P. Garcia Highway (northbound) must also turn right and make a U-turn ahead.

👉Please follow all traffic rules and signage in the area.

Drive safely and plan your trips accordingly.
