Congratulations to the Animo Bar and Bench Society of De La Salle University–Dasmariñas College of Law for proudly representing the Philippines on the world stage at the White & Case Finals of the Philip C. Jessup International Moot Court Competition held from March 28 to April 4, 2026 in Washington, D.C., USA.

Led by Team Captain Charles Andrew S. Vasquez, together with Ma. Antonette O. Gutierrez and Jaymelyn A. Reyes, and guided by faculty coach Atty. Jannell R. Cajote-Gerodiaz, the team stood among 150+ law schools worldwide—an impressive feat made even more remarkable as this is their first-ever moot court competition as part of the College of Law’s pioneer batch.

As an exhibition team, they faced universities from Ottawa (Canada), Georgia (USA), Uganda, and Kosovo—showcasing not only their advocacy skills but also the growing excellence of DLSU-D in the field of international law and mooting.

The Animo Bar and Bench Society also recognizes the contributions of Angelica Therese Ferrer, Hans Angelo Henave, and Liana Reigne Bongao, alongside coaches Atty. Dan Christian Ramos and Atty. Christianne Noelle De Vera, whose efforts strengthened the team throughout the competition.

This milestone was made possible through the generous support of sponsors, donors, mentors, and the entire Lasallian community whose trust and belief enabled the team to carry the name of De La Salle University–Dasmariñas onto the global stage.

The future is bright for DLSU- D College of Law.
