Dagupan City Justice Zone bested sixteen (16) Justice Zones all over the country to win First Prize at the audio-visual presentation competition at the National Justice Zone Summit.

💜Kaalaman at Hustisya, Handog sa Dagupeña💜

Kasangga ang Dagupan City Local Government Unit, sa pamumuno ni Mayor Belen Fernandez, naghandog muli ang inyong mga katuwang sa Dagupan City Justice Zone ng kaalaman sa mga kasapi ng Maarong Ina, na binubuo ng higit kumulang 3,000 nanay, mga Barangay VAW Desk Officers at iba pang opisyales mula sa iba’t ibang barangay ng ating Siyudad.

Tinalakay ni City Prosecutor Ma. Victoria Datuin-Cabrera ang “Violence Against Women and Children”. Kaniyang isinalaysay ang proteksyon na pinapairal ng Republic Act 9262 para sa kababaihan at kanilang mga anak.

Inilathala naman ni Presiding Judge Caridad V. Galvez ng Regional Trial Court, Branch 43 ang mga obligasiyon at mga nararapat na gawain ng mag-asawa sa kaniyang diskusiyon patungkol sa “Marital Obligations”.

Ang huling leksiyon naman ay ibinahagi ni Presiding Judge Zarah R. Sanchez-Fernandez mula sa Regional Trial Court, Branch 15-FC, na pinakilala ang “Safe Spaces Act” o “Bawal Bastos Law” sa ating mga benepisyaryo.

Laging tandaan, ikaw ay BABAE at hindi Babae lang! 💪

🇵🇭 ⚖️ Enhanced Katarungang Pambarangay Manual Rollout! ⚖️ 🇵🇭

Mabuhay ang mga Kapitan, Sekretarya at miyembro ng mga Lupon ng tatlumpong-isang (31) Barangay ng siyudad ng Dagupan na dumalo sa “Seminar-Workshop on the Enhanced Katarungang Pambarangay Manual” noong ika- 26 ng Pebrero 2025 sa Kalayaan Hall, IBP Building, Bonuan Tondaligan, Dagupan City!

Nawa’y ang mga natutunan ninyo mula sa araw na ito ay maiparating natin sa mga Dagupeño at Dagupeña na ating pinaglilingkuran. Ang pagdadubhasa natin sa batas ang susi para sa epektibong pagpapatupad ng ating layunin - ang paglutas ng mga pagtatalo nang ito’y hindi na umabot sa korte.

Malasakit at respeto sa kapwa, araw-araw nating isagawa!

Maraming salamat sa ating mga butihing katuwang sa pagtulong upang maitawid ang proyektong ito, ang Rotary Club Dagupan City, Liga ng mga Barangay, DILG at ang Integrated Bar of the Philippines- Pangasinan Chapter.

EMPOWERED WOMEN EMPOWER WOMEN 🧡💙

Hon. Dorothy J. Alarcio-Padilla led the donation of dishwashing soap-making kits for VAW victims. By providing VAW victims a new opportunity through an alternative livelihood, the DagCJZ seeks to empower and help them become independent from their abusers.

With the continued support of the Dagupan City LGU and its Women’s Center, the beneficiaries of the activity were taught how to produce and market the products.

Here’s to more opportunities for women empowerment! 🥂

Hall of Justice Dagupan City Vows to End VAW 🧡⚖️💙

In observance of Proclamation No. 1172, series of 2006, institutionalizing the “18 Day Campaign to End Violence Against Women”, Dagupan City HOJ employees and Judges don the signature colors of the campaign during flag ceremony where the “All Women Cast Lupang Hinirang” video is played.

The Dagupan City Halls of Justice likewise displays the campaign banner, to further champion the advocacy.

Dagupan City Judges Support the Fight to End VAW ⚖️

Among the roster of speakers during the recently concluded event were Hon. Mervin Jovito Samadan, the Convenor of the Dagupan City Justice Zone and Presiding Judge of RTC Br. 40, Hon. Dorothy J. Alarcio-Padilla, Executive Judge and Presiding Judge of RTC Br. 42, Hon. Caridad V. Galvez, Presiding Judge of RTC Br. 43, Designated Family Court and Hon. Zarah R. Sanchez-Fernandez of RTC Br.15-FC. Each providing critical insights as well as words of encouragement to the beneficiaries of the event.

Hon. Michael Paul B. Israel, Presiding Judge of RTC Br. 76, Hon. Emma Torio, Presiding Judge of RTC Br. 41, and Hon. Gerely Rico Cruz, Presiding Judge of MCTC San Fabian-San Jacinto graced the event and reinforced the united sentiment to champion the rights of women in Dagupan City.
