Why Laguna is such sweet spot to invest right now
The Asian Development Bank (ADB) has boosted the Laguna Lakeshore Road Network Project (LLRN) funding to almost USD 1.7 billion.
The LLRN seeks to promote regional connectivity and reduce traffic congestion in Mega Manila.
The LLRN Phase 1 will construct a new 37.4 km road (21.5 km bridge + 15.9 km dam) along the west shoreline of Laguna Lake.
LLRN Phase 1 will include eight interchanges: Lower Bicutan, Sucat, Alabang, Tunasan, San Pedro/Biñan, Santa Rosa, Cabuyao, and Calamba.
The proposed LLRN Phase 2 will have nine interchanges located along the eastern shoreline of Laguna Lake: Binangonan, Morong, Tanay, Pililla North, Pililla South, Jala-Jala, Santa Cruz, Victoria/Calauan, and Los Baños.
Once completed, the project will provide nearly four million people with improved access to markets and public services via the LLRN.
