IBP Nueva Ecija condemns the armed attack against its member and its former Chapter President, Atty. DIOSDADO O. PADILLA and his driver. The incident happened last April 14, 2023 at Brgy. Soledad, Sta. Rosa, Nueva Ecija where the suspects fired several times on the vehicle of Atty. PADILLA and the assailants immediately fled towards Sta. Rosa-Zaragoza Road. Atty. PADILLA, who was luckily unharmed, managed to bring his wounded driver to the hospital.

Our Supreme Court previously stressed that these kind of illegal acts against lawyers cannot be allowed in a civilized society like ours. It condemns in the strongest sense every instance where a lawyer is threatened or killed. Our Supreme Court also said that it does not and will not tolerate such acts that only perverse justice, defeat the rule of law, and speculate on the worth of human lives.

In this light, we urge our law enforcement agencies for a swift investigation of the shooting incident and for the apprehension of the assailants and others who are responsible for this unlawful act. The family of ATTY. PADILLA is willing to give a reward in the amount of Php100,000.00 to those who can give information leading to the apprehension of the assailants and other persons behind the attack.

Ang IBP Nueva Ecija ay nakikiisa sa paggunita ng araw ng kagitingan.

Matatandaan na ang araw na ito ang naghudyat ng pagsuko ng mga sundalong Pilipino at Amerikano sa kamay ng mga Hapones noong Ikalawang Digmaang Pandaigdig. Ito din ang naghudyat ng simula ng Bataan Death March na nagdulot ng pagkasawi sa libo-libong sundalong Pilipino at Amerikano.

The Integrated Bar of the Philippines Nueva Ecija Chapter will hold the oath-taking and induction of its newly-elected Board of Officers on April 1, 2023 at Harvest Hotel, Cabanatuan City.

Sa pagdiriwang ng Women's Month ay nagsagawa po ng Legal Aid Mission at Charity Event ang IBP Nueva Ecija Chapter sa ating mga kababaihang PDLs sa NE Provincial Jail.

Dinaluhan po ito ng ating mga Volunteer Legal Aid Lawyers, mga officers at mga newly elected officers ng IBPNE. Nagpapasalamat po ang IBPNE sa lahat ng ating mga volunteers at sa pamunuan ng NE Provincial Jail.

Kaisa po ang IBPNE sa pagtaguyod ng Gender Equality, Women Empowement, at Inclusive Society na siyang tema ng Women's Month.

We are saddened to inform you that our National Center for Legal Aid (NCLA) Director, Atty. Eric C. Alajar, has recently suffered a stroke and is currently in the ICU. As we all know, Atty. Alajar has been a tireless advocate for the marginalized and underserved communities in our country, and his contributions to the legal profession have been invaluable.
