MANILA, Philippines - Japanese engineering giant Chiyoda and Mitsubishi Corp. have signed a contract to build a new airport in Bohol, Nikkei reported.

Officials of foreign and local companies this week met with Representative Erico Aristotle Aumentado (2nd district, Bohol) to discuss the planned Cebu-Bohol Multi-Access Friendship Bridge project, connecting the two provinces.

Bohol Representative Erico Aumentado is pushing for the approval of the Bohol-Cebu Multi-Access Friendship Bridge.
