We are humbly asking for help for Shamaya’s surgery 🙏

She has a tumor near her right eye and needs urgent surgery and medication, costing around ₱7,000. Some funds have already been raised, and Ma’am Marilyn Casil, Shamaya’s mom, has also shared from her own savings. As of now, we still need ₱5,000 to proceed with her operation at Baybay Pet Clinic.

Shamaya is a 2-year-old baby girl, sweet, playful, and full of life. In the video, she’s the happy little dog riding in the basket at the back of the bike, enjoying a simple stroll with her mama.

Today was full of blessings for our Baybay dogs 💕

We are deeply thankful to Ma’am Pamela Robles for providing the gas refill, something that makes a big difference in preparing food for the dogs each day.

We’re also grateful to the owner of Shekina Mortuary forcalling and donating cash for 2 days of ulam this coming May, and to the mommy of Yuki Ganal for messaging and pledging of ulam as well.

From pound dogs, rescues, to strays, so many lives were touched today.

Thank you for reminding us that even in difficult days, kindness finds its way 🙏🐶🫶

We also extend our gratitude to EBCAL for allowing Baybay Dog Advocates to use their kitchen. In times when we had no gas to cook, their support helped us continue this daily commitment.

Our work doesn’t pause, but our resources do run low. We are still in need of cash donations to refill our cooking gas and to purchase cleaning materials as we prepare to schedule a clean-up at the dog pound.

We are also calling for volunteers who are willing to help and be part of this effort.

We’re truly grateful that our April ulam sponsors calendar is finally complete 🙏

It took time to fill, and honestly, our volunteers were already worried, not just because of the missing slots in the calendar, but also because our cooking gas tank had already run empty. Even preparing food for both rice and ulam became a daily challenge.

As of now, our rice donations can sustain us until the first week of May, and our dog food supply may last until mid-May.

While the ULAM April calendar is now full, the needs don’t stop here. We still humbly ask for your help so we can continue feeding and caring for our Baybay dogs every single day 🐶💛

Every support, big or small, fills not just a date on the calendar, but a hungry stomach and a life that depends on us.

On days when resources run out, compassion steps in.

This feeding was not just made possible by sponsors, but by the very people behind this cause, the volunteers and founders of Baybay Dog Advocates. Sila ang pirmi modupa kung mahutdan na, making sure nga dili gyud magutom ang mga iro sa pound.

They may have less, dili man sila datu, but they continue to give, even out of their own personal struggles. Because for them, mas lisod tan-awon nga naay magutom kaysa sa ilang own kakulangan.

Because of them, our dogs didn’t just eat, they felt cared for, remembered, and loved.

As of now, wala gyud tay ulam sponsors from April 26–28, so everything comes from shared effort and personal sacrifice.

We humbly continue to knock on your hearts. Any help or donation will mean another day of food, another day of hope for these dogs 🙏

This was only done today, but it’s a good idea to continue. To the pound caretakers, thank you 💕

Usually, the dogs are only fed once a day. Today’s setup was dog food in the morning, then a full meal at 2 PM, rice with ulam and dog food mixed.

We hope this can be continued so they won’t have to wait the whole day for just one feeding and will have something to eat earlier, while still getting a complete meal later.

We also need donations and support to sustain this kind of feeding setup so we can continue providing them proper care every day. 🙏
