The Municipality of San Isidro free legal program is conducted through the partnership between the Local Government of Tubigon and the Holy Name University- College of Law under the Clinical Legal Education Program pursuant to Section 2 (a) of Rule 138-A of the Rules of Court (as amended by A.M. No. 19-03-24- SC, Law Student Practice Rule), is meant "to provide law students with practical knowledge, skills and values necessary for the application of the law, delivery of legal services, and promotion of social justice and public interest, especially to the marginalized, while inculcating in the students the values of ethical lawyering and public service”.

Avail the following legal services for free:

Drafting and Notarization of Simple Affidavits:
✅Affidavit of Loss
✅Affidavit of Two Disinterested Persons
✅Affidavit of Legitimation
✅Affidavit of Paternity and Recognition
✅Affidavit of Cohabitation
✅Other kinds of Affidavits

Criminal and Civil Case Consultations, example but not limited to:
✅VAWC - Abandonment, Support and Abuses
✅Succession and Partition
✅Errors in Birth Certificate and other Public Document
✅Land Dispute / Ejectment
✅Adoption
✅Possible Violations of Criminal Law and Civil Law

Not included are:
Business/Commercial/Conveyances transactions such as Deed of Sale, Promissory Note, Loan Agreements, Mortgage Agreements, Deed of Assignment and Corporation/ Partnership Matters and other matters pertaining to business or collection case.

IN PHOTOS: The Holy Name University- College of Law and their Clinical Legal Education Program (CLEP) students, in partnership with the Municipality of Tubigon successfully held their Free Legal Aid Program and Barangay Officials Training and Seminar on R.A. 6713 on November 27, 2023 9am-3pm.

The said legal aid program is pursuant to Section 2 (a) of Rule 138-A of the Rules of Court (as amended by A.M. The Integrated Bar of the Philippines-Bohol (IBP-Bohol) Chapter, in partnership with the Holy Name University College of Law (HNU-COL) CLEP and the Municipality of San Miguel successfully held this day (April 29, 2023) the "Legal Aid Outreach: Libreng Konsulta ug Libreng Notaryo" from 9:00am to 3:00 pm at the San Miguel Municipal Gym.

Ang SIM nga dili marehistro sa gitakdang petsa muresulta sa pag-deactivate niini. Ayaw paglangan kay pipila na lang ka adlaw ang nahabilin sa pagparehistro.

Ang tumong sa Republic Act 11934 o SIM Registration Act kay sulbaron ug pugngan ang mga krimen nga naglambigit sa paggamit sa SIM.

HNU-CEJA partners with INTEGRATED BAR OF THE PHILIPPINES - BOHOL CHAPTER

To expose the students with the traditional or mainstream lawyering, the HNU-CEJA has partnered with the Integrated Bar of the Philippines- Bohol Chapter in the latter's legal aid program. The legal aid program is intended to help indigent or disadvantaged Bol-anons regarding their legal concerns.

The HNU law student practitioners help man the IBP office at the IBP Bldg., New Capitol Site, Tagbilaran City, every Wednesday from 9am-12nn. Such services can also be availed of at the HNU-CEJA office, Bates Bldg., Holy Name University, Tagbilaran City, every Wednesday from 9am-12nn, and from 2pm-5pm.
