🎊 The University of Baguio School of Law joins in celebrating the anniversary of the Baguio Market Vendors Multipurpose Cooperative!

In the spirit of service and community, our CLEP students joined the free legal aid event held at the Baguio City Market last April 28, 2026, providing legal consultations and assistance to cooperative members and market vendors — bringing justice closer to those who need it most and ensuring that no one is left behind in accessing their rights. ⚖️

The activity was supervised by Atty. Banoar Abratique, Faculty Member of the UB School of Law, ensuring that every consultation was handled with competence, care, and a deep commitment to equality and fairness for all. 🙏

By reaching out to the marginalized and underserved sectors of our community, we reaffirm our belief that quality education is best measured by its impact on people's lives — and that the pursuit of justice is a pursuit of a more peaceful, inclusive, and equitable society for everyone. 💙🎉⚖️

📣 CLEP COMMUNITY OUTREACH | UB SCHOOL OF LAW

The University of Baguio School of Law, through its Clinical Legal Education Program (CLEP), successfully conducted a community legal lecture today at the Barangay Dominican-Mirador Hill Barangay Hall, Baguio City.

Under the supervision of Atty. Jose Romualdo C. Carpio III, CLEP Director, law students delivered lectures on:

⚖️ Republic Act No. 9262 – Anti-Violence Against Women and Their Children Act of 2004
⚖️ Republic Act No. 7877 – Anti-Sexual Harassment Act of 1995

The session was attended by the barangay officials of Barangay Dominican-Mirador Hill, led by Punong Barangay Carol Bimmawig Domogan — the community's first line of defense in protecting women and children from violence and harassment.

By bringing legal education directly to local leaders, we take a step toward gender equality, stronger community institutions, and a more just and inclusive society — values at the heart of what we do at the University of Baguio School of Law.

The UB Legal Assistance Center remains committed to making the law accessible to every Filipino — one community at a time.

Our law student practitioners from the UB School of Law Clinical Legal Education Program (CLEP) joined the Semek Cordillera Human Rights Hub's free legal aid activity today, April 9, 2026, at Malcolm Square, Baguio City, in celebration of Araw ng Kagitingan.

Under the supervision of Atty. Krystel Ang, UB SOL Professor, and Atty. Meliza Quitan-Corpuz, a proud UB School of Law graduate, our students provided free legal consultation and notarization services to members of the community - putting classroom learning into real-world practice in service of those who need it most.

The University of Baguio Legal Assistance Center (UB LAC) is pleased to announce its updated office schedule:
🗓 Monday – Thursday 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM

The Center provides the following FREE services for indigent clients:
✔️ Legal advice and consultation
✔️ Assistance in drafting simple legal documents
❗ Please note: The Legal Assistance Center does not provide notarization services.
For those who wish to seek legal assistance, you may visit the office during the above schedule. You may also send us a message through the UB LAC page to schedule an appointment.
We remain committed to promoting access to justice and serving the community.
