RESERVATION DEPOSIT is non-refundable UNLESS an extraordinary event or circumstance, beyond the control of, and affecting the respective localities of one party, or both parties, such as a war, strike, riot, crime, or an event described by the legal term Force Majeure, or act of God, (such as strong typhoon, flooding, earthquake, volcanic eruption, etc.), prevents the guests from coming to Baguio to enjoy the transient house, or the transient house operator from providing the accommodation offered in the original and/or reasonably livable condition.
Rationale for this is that partner transient house operator, for not entertaining other reservations for the same unit, shall be faced with the lost opportunity to book for the day, thus, resulting in deprived income.
However, should client who has deposited reservation fee inform NormRealty of valid reason(s) for cancellation other than those mentioned in the preceding paragraph within reasonable period of time prior to the actual date of stay, the case shall be promptly consulted and evaluated with concerned operator and a final decision, with grounds or explanation thereto, of whether to refund or not shall be relayed immediately to the client. Should decision be favorable to the client, remedial arrangements for full or partial return of deposit, or transfer to a different date/period, shall be carried out.
