MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR No. 019-2024

In light of the declaration of the Provincial Government of suspension of classes in all levels in both public and private schools, and work in all government offices in the province, and in view of the severe flooding due to the enhanced Southwest Monsoon brought about by Tropical Depression ENTENG, CLASSES in ALL LEVELS, in both public and private schools, as well as WORK in GOVERNMENT OFFICES in the City of Bacoor are hereby SUSPENDED tomorrow, Tuesday, 03 September 2024.

However, those offices whose functions involve providing essential public services and are directly involved in disaster/emergency management operations (like BDRRMO, City Engineering Office, CESD, City Health Office, CSWDO, BTMD, BPSU, CICU, GSO, OBO, etc.) shall continue with their regular operations and render the necessary services.

Furthermore, all other offices shall activate their respective duty teams to assist in disaster response and management operations.

This circular shall take effect immediately.

Court operations in some areas today, September 3, 2024, are suspended due to Tropical Storm .

RTC Guagua and MTCs of Lubao, Floridablanca, Sta. Rita, and Sasmuan starting 2:00 pm

All courts within the jurisdiction of Tagudin, Ilocos Sur starting 1:00 pm

RTC Br. 53 Rosales, Pangasinan and MTCs Balungao, Rosales, and Sta. Maria, Pangasinan

All courts within the jurisdiction of Candon City, Ilocos Sur

RTCs and OCCs in Santiago City, Isabela

All courts within the jurisdiction of RTC Br. 31, Agoo, La Union

All courts within the jurisdiction of Mariveles-Limay, Bataan

WORK SUSPENSION: Work in the Supreme Court (SC) and in all courts and offices in Region IV-A and the National Capital Region (NCR) are suspended on September 3, 2024 in view of the announcement from the Office of the Executive Secretary suspending work in government offices in both regions.

Skeletal forces in the Docket Receiving of the SC Judicial Records Office and Cash Collection and Disbursement Division, SC Fiscal Management and Budget Office will be maintained.

Courts and offices in Region IV-A and the NCR should be accessible to lawyers, court users, and litigants through their respective hotline numbers and official email addresses.

All concerned judges and clerks of courts should observe the protocols on disaster reportorial and response mechanisms under Office of the Court Administrator Circular No. 262A-2022 if warranted.

Judges should also monitor the condition of their court premises to determine or conduct any required clean-up operation or repair/rehabilitation work.
