Sharing this little win with everyone. 🥹❤️

According to Atty. Jane Paga, the ORCM commended our bodega for being organized, and they even discussed asking other courts about their good practices in organizing court documents.

As Atty. Jane put it:

“Nakakataba ng puso na may nakikita sila na maganda tayo ginagawa. Kaya salamat sa lahat ng nakibahagi sa pag-aayos ng bodega. Sana sa ibang aspeto pa ng ating trabaho ay maging maayos at organizado tayo.”

Sometimes, it’s the little things we do together that make a difference—and it feels good to know that our efforts are being noticed and appreciated. 🥹

Thank you to everyone who took part in organizing and maintaining our bodega. This may seem like a small thing, but it’s definitely something worth being proud of.

Task Force Honesto Notario

Sheriffs Dale Johnson Cornel Simon, Juvie Agatep and Mac Jomar Edurise, together with Ex-Officio Sheriff Atty. Jane Paga, conducted Task Force Honesto Notario for commissioned lawyers whose law offices are located in Gattaran, Cagayan.

The activity included reminders on the timely submission of notarized documents and the importance of informing the Court of any changes in material information stated in their petitions, such as a change of office address or appointment to a government position, where the necessary authority to continue the practice of law must be secured.

The lawyers were also given the opportunity to raise their concerns regarding notarization. The team likewise provided the office hotline and official email address, including the designated email for the submission of PDF copies of notarized documents.

The activity also included orienting and enlightening the new version of JEPS on the process, particularly in facilitating the assessment and payment of court fees. Atty. Jane likewise distributed the prepared list of categories of transactions and corresponding court fees, which served as a guide for the assigned lawyers in properly assessing the fees and helped streamline the process, sparing the lawyers from having to line up at the JEPS Kiosk at the office.

A little story shared by Atty. Jane:
During their visit to Atty. Sampayan’s office, they happened to arrive while she had clients. True to her strict practice, her office door clearly displayed “NO I.D., NO NOTARY.” Atty. Sampayan even explained, “Isu pasensya kayu nu strikto nak ta kas makita u, ag-check da gamin dagitoy taga korte.” 😄

A productive day of reminders, coordination, and a few light moments along the way. ⚖️

📢 COURT OPERATIONS ADVISORY

Please be informed that work and court operations in the affected courts in Cagayan will be suspended from 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. on August 12, 2026, due to the scheduled power interruption.

The suspension covers the Offices of the Clerks of Courts and First- and Second-Level Courts of Aparri, Cagayan; Municipal Trial Court of Camalaniugan, Cagayan; and the Office of the Clerk of Court and Municipal Trial Courts of Lal-lo, Cagayan.

Court personnel and the general public are advised to be guided accordingly.
