THE OUTGOING EXECUTIVES OF IBS UNIVERSITY MADANG STUDENTS ASSOCIATION. INSERT OTHERS WHO DIDN'T JOINED FOR PHOTOS SHOOTING.

It is with the heavy heart that we'll be missing some of the pioneer students who graduated 🎓 with Degrees that will be leaving us. Especially, Mathson Rams, the first Treasurer for IBSU MSA, your efforts in contributing to the association at the very beginning of the association is truly commendable.

From the thornbushes you all stood tall and united. Working side by side, collaborately to bring the association to where it is now. IBSU MSA acknowledged your leadership, commitment and dedication in setting up the foundation that unites all Madang students attending IBS University and South Cross university.

IBS UNIVERSITY MADANG STUDENTS ASSOCIATION SUCCESSFULLY HELD MEET & GREET AND EXECUTIVE NOMINATION.

The IBSU Madang Students Association proudly marked a significant milestone with the successfully hosting of its MEET & GREET Program on Wednesday, 18th March, 2026, bringing together new and continuing students from Madang Province.

The program was conducted in two parts. The part 1, is the introduction of the new-intakes, were students introduced themselves, their background, and aspirations, which creat a welcoming environment for everyone.

After the introduction, it was followed by nomination for the new executive body. It was very intresting to see students actively participated in nominating individuals they trusted to stand for them by taking leadership roles from outgoing executives to lead with purpose and integrity.

Due to the time constraints, the nomination process couldn't be completed on the same day. As a result, the nomination continued to next day, Thursday, 19th March, 2026, where all executive positions were finalized.

Beyond all the activities, this event reflected the inspiring journey of the association. When it was first established in 2024, there were only few students. Despite the limited numbers, the pioneer students remained determined, and never gave up on building the strong and united IBSU MSA community.

This year, 2026, the IBSU MSA has grown remarkably, whith a fully occupied classroom of proud Madang Students - this shows the clear sign of progress and success. This achievement stands as a testament for the hard work, resilience, and commitment of the pioneer students members.

Last but not least, the association extends it's deepest appreciation to all pioneer students who stood tall and worked tirelessly to lay the foundation that our current students and future students members will feel secured under the MSA house.

To the new members and newly appointed executives, this is your time to lead, contribute, and carry forward the values of corporation, participation, and unity.

☆Together we will build a stronger IBSU MSA Family today and the years to come.

I am pleased to share this post as we Madang Students at IBS University celebrated the 50th Anniversary Independence Cultural Show wonderfully and successfully.

The event was held on 10th September, 2025 (pre-Idependance Day), were all the students from 22 provinces in Papua New Guinea came together and celebrated this special event, showcasing cultures in unity.

With the strong teamwork, corporatuon, and participation of Madang Students at IBSU, we stand still and proudly showcased the rich and vibrant cultural heritage of our province through dances, songs, with beautiful looking traditional attires.

The Madang Students Association (MSA) would also like to extend its heartfelt thanks and appreciation to all Madang students members for their generous contributions, active participation, and teamwork - not only during the event but from the beginning of this academic year up till we had this celebration. We also thank the school administration, staff, event coordinators, and our hardworking SGA team leaders for their tireless efforts in making this event happen for us to celebrate.

Your commitment, creative ideas, efforts, and dedication made our participation in the event a tremendous success and a true reflection of our Madang spirit, culture, and unity. Every effort you put - from song and dance practice, fundraising, decorating shelter - played a vital role in making the celebration meaningful and a memorable one.

Thank you once again for your support and corporation. Together, we will continue to make IBSU & SCU Madang Students Association stronger and well organized student's body.

With that we wish you all a safe holiday, safe Christmas break and see you all same next year, 2026. Please keep yourself safe and return back for the new academic year.
