La Ley No. 526 estableció la obligación de acreditar sustancia económica en Panamá. Ahora, el Decreto Ejecutivo No. 32 de 2026 define cómo deberán cumplirla las entidades panameñas pertenecientes a grupos multinacionales sujetas a la Ley.

La nueva reglamentación desarrolla los tipos de sustancia económica, los requisitos para acreditarla, las actividades que pueden tercerizarse y las obligaciones de declaración y documentación.
