Kia ora koutou, due to yesterday's flooding, our Wellington office will continue to be closed Friday (25 Sept) and Monday (28 Sept) during the day. We will resume regular services at our Monday evening drop-in session (5-7pm).

In the meantime, for urgent legal issues, you can still access our Te Awa Kairangi office and access our service using the remote form on our website below. Alternatively, give us a call at 04 499 2928 if you don’t have internet access. We will do our best to get to the most urgent legal issues.

We are looking for a Kaiwhakahaere Kiripaepae - Receptionist to join Community Law on a part-time basis.

The Kiripaepae is crucial to our daily operations, to make sure that manuhiri are greeted with manaakitanga, and clients are appropriately triaged and assisted based on their individual needs.

Community Law Wellington and Hutt Valley will have a stall at this weekend’s Multicultural Matariki Puanga in the Hutt. We’re looking forward to meeting the community and answering any questions about our services.

Hosted by Hutt Multicultural Council, Multicultural Matariki Puanga will bring together ethnic communities from Lower Hutt and the wider Wellington region to acknowledge the Māori New Year with live performances, kai, storytelling and activities.

Date: Sunday 19 July
Time: 5pm
Venue: Walter Nash Stadium.
