Meet your inner team: The Overachiever, The People-Pleaser, and The Tired Queen who’s DONE.

If you’ve been through divorce, co-parenting drama, or a narcissist who drained your soul…
you already KNOW these three show up uninvited:

šŸ”„ The Overachiever
Colour-coding your life, writing emails at 3am, and convincing you that peace can be ā€œmanagedā€ if you just work harder.

šŸ”„ The People-Pleaser
Apologising for things you didn’t do.
Terrified of upsetting anyone.
Has never had a boundary survive for more than 24 hours.

šŸ”„ The Tired Queen
CEO of ā€œI’m so over this.ā€
Mentally moved to a cabin in the woods (with a dog) three breakups ago.

Here’s the truth:
None of your parts are "bad". They’re trying to protect you from old wounds.
But they’re not meant to run your whole life.

Healing starts when YOU, the grounded, adult you, takes the lead and says:

ā€œThank you for trying to protect me… but I’ve got this now.ā€

šŸ‘‰ Comment which part is running your life today
šŸ‘‰ Share with someone who needs a laugh and a wake-up call
šŸ‘‰ Save this for later — especially on those chaotic days

Post-Breakup Superpowers

Ever noticed how the moment you separate… the spouse who ā€œcouldn’t possibly helpā€ suddenly discovers superpowers?

Wild, isn’t it?
The person who never had time to:
🧺 fold a towel
🧽 clean a bench
šŸ›’ remember milk
šŸ‘¶ take the kids to school
šŸ› ļø fix anything
… suddenly has:
šŸ’ˆ a fresh haircut
šŸ‹ļøā€ā™‚ļø a gym membership
🧓 new skincare routine
šŸ“… ā€œnew boundariesā€
šŸ“± a mysterious ability to reply immediately…

It’s almost like they were never incapable, just unwilling when it did not benefit them.
Humour aside:

When you leave someone who drains you, you stop carrying their weight… and they suddenly have energy to carry their own.

Comment ā€œFREEDOM ENERGYā€ if you’ve witnessed this transformation. Save for later when you start doubting yourself.

They call January Divorce Month.
But no one just wakes up and ends a marriage.
It builds, silently, for years.

Christmas doesn’t cause breakups.
It exposes them.

The arguments you ignored.
The cold shoulder that feels colder around the tree.
The promise of ā€œnext year will be betterā€ā€¦ that never is.

So if you’re quietly thinking about leaving —
Don’t panic.

Prepare.

Here’s how to start smart:

šŸ’¼ Talk to a lawyer, even one consult can save you thousands.
šŸ’³ Copy every financial document you can: bank, mortgage, super, trust deeds.
🧠 See a divorce coach, make an emotional exit plan, not a reactive one.
šŸ“ Keep a record of messages, agreements, and key info.
šŸ’– Start caring for you, clarity first, decisions later.

Because the people who walk out strongest in January…
Started planning quietly in November.

You don’t have to blow up your life to reclaim it.
You just have to start protecting your peace.

šŸ’¬ Comment ā€œPLANā€ if you want my free pre-separation checklist — or message me privately if you’d rather keep it confidential.

When a narcissist says ā€œI’m leavingā€ — or when you finally have to —
your nervous system doesn’t hear ā€œdivorce.ā€
It hears ā€œdanger.ā€

That’s why your hands shake.
Why your chest feels tight.
Why your brain can’t string a sentence together.

You’re not weak, you’re in shock.
Your body is doing its job: keeping you alive.

The goal isn’t to not feel anxious.
It’s to teach your body that it’s safe again.
That’s when you start to think clearly, plan wisely, and rebuild.

3 things to do when you feel emotionally overloaded:

1ļøāƒ£ Breathe slower than your panic.
Try a 4–7–8 rhythm — inhale for 4, hold for 7, exhale for 8.
It literally tells your brain: ā€œWe’re safe.ā€

2ļøāƒ£ Ground yourself in your senses.
Notice 5 things you can see, 4 you can touch, 3 you can hear.
It pulls you out of survival mode and back into now.

3ļøāƒ£ Reach out.
There’s truth in that old saying — a problem shared is a problem halved.
Sometimes, just saying it out loud is the first breath of relief.

If this hit a nerve, message me.
You don’t have to untangle the fear alone, even one grounded conversation can change the next 30 days.

šŸŽ„āœØ ā€œSurviving Christmas with a Narcissistā€

It’s beginning to look a lot like… triggers.
Family drama, fake smiles, and your ex pretending to be Santa.

šŸ‘‰ Breathe. You don’t owe anyone your peace this Christmas.
You can say no and still be kind.
You can skip dinner and still be loved.
You can protect your peace and still have a merry Christmas.

šŸŽ Boundaries are the real gift this season.

Save this if you need the reminder, and tag a friend who’s doing Christmas solo but strong.

If you don’t have boundaries in place yet, or you keep breaking them, message me.
We’ll build your holiday survival plan together before the chaos hits.

When the world slows down, your healing begins. šŸŒ…

Everyone else is rushing into the holidays, but if you’re in the middle of a breakup or divorce, this season can feel like emotional whiplash.
The quiet feels heavier.
The days feel longer.
And somehow, you’re expected to keep smiling through it.

This summer, give yourself permission to slow down.
ā˜€ļø Journal instead of just scrolling.
šŸ–ļø Sit in the sun and breathe.
šŸ—“ļø Plan soft days for when the kids are away, not punishment, just peace.
Stillness isn’t failure.
It’s your reset.

šŸ’¬ Comment ā€œRESETā€ if this hits home.
šŸ”– Save this for when you need the reminder.

I caught up with an old client recently. Over coffee, she said something I hear all too often:

ā€œI wish I had taken your advice....ā€

Two years on, she’s still dealing with the same control, the same chaos, just dressed up as ā€œbeing reasonable.ā€

Exhaustion makes people give in for the sake of peace.
But peace doesn’t come from giving in.
It comes from clarity, structure, and written agreements.

If your ex thrives on conflict, don’t wait for them to see sense.
Protect your peace. Put it in writing. Every. Single. Time.

šŸ’¬ Comment ā€œBOUNDARIESā€ if you’ve learned this lesson the hard way, or tag a friend who needs to hear it.

Sometimes peace doesn’t come with fireworks; it comes quietly, after you’ve survived the storm.

Finland has a National Day of Failure. Maybe it’s time divorce got one too.

Most people still see divorce as the ultimate failure, personal, emotional, and especially for their kids.

But what if it’s actually proof that you tried, that you learned, and that you’re brave enough to start again?

Today, Finland celebrates failure. The Day of Failure began when students at Aalto University realised something: people weren’t starting businesses because they were afraid to fail.

07/10/2025

The smartest move in divorce isn’t revenge — it’s strategy.

Real strength isn’t proving your ex wrong; it’s rebuilding your peace, your confidence, and your future.

šŸ“Œ Save this for when you’re tempted to fight just to prove a point.
ā¤ļø Share it with someone who needs to hear this.
